Omicron is no longer pandemic, it's taken covid to an epidemic stage and is now better than the vaccine if added to the vaccinated people. Deaths are very low and even though the number of cases are very high its not nearly as dangerous as the earlier variants.

The covid pandemic is over and within a year covid will be just like the flu and no longer a pandemic.

Yet the government is freaked out over omicron and putting in more restrictions for something they should not.

Let Omicron run wild, As the vaccinated are for the most part safe from death and the unvaccinated are going to get omicron and get natural immunity.

Then by the fall of 2022 covid will not be a problem for the US.

Then we will have revenge on china as Omicron will hit them very hard.

These days, science and politics are the same animal or haven't you been keeping up with Doc Fauci?

HIW DARE YOU. Fauci is science and like good science you should never challenge him or question him.

an attack on fauci is an attack on science.

Unfortunately the vaccines no longer help at risk patients. They do nothing now. The antibodies they create don't recognize omicron.

We have data to prove that boostered people still transmit the virus, but there is no proof for the zero efficacy thesis you are pushing. And that's that.

There is no proof of efficacy, therefore the default is zero until it is proven to have efficacy. All the data shows there is no level of antibodies from the vaccine that will prevent infection.

"Yet, this is probably not enough for the omicron," she told reporters. "We know by now that the level of antibodies needed to protect and not to get infected from omicron is probably too high for the vaccine, even if it's a good vaccine."

Then they add the fluff 'it could still help'. I don't care about fluff, I care about data. Want to know what else data says, too many vaccines and boosters can lead to immune fatigue. That means we will have an overall weakened immune system, and antibodies for a virus that no longer exists making us more susceptible to the weakened covid virus we now have.

I also love how they talk about how the booster offers 3 months of protection against infection with Omicron when Omicron hasn't even been in America 3 months, they don't like the data so they make stuff up.

Infection is one thing, and surviving your infection would be a different deposit. Focus!
