Been seeing them for years they were was pretty common sight during the 90s near and around me

You can barely see The lights, as someone has already pointed out clouds make a great medium for LASER...haze on the other hand, not so good.

Our local funfair does this each october. I know with covid theres probably no funfairs but its deffinately that type of thing.

If that were a light source out over the water, we'd be seeing some reflection of it in the surface of the water.

The people that make these vids often have no clue about how light actually works in the real world.
