The Sweet Steve Priest R.I.P.

Steve Priest bass guitarist of The Sweet one of Glam Rocks pioneering bands has passed away age 72.

Not a big fan of Glam Rock myself, but it's worth a mention as they where one of the leading bands in their field.

Bands such as Kiss, Def Leppard and Motley Crue cite The Sweet as an influence on their style of play.

R.I.P. Steve.

sweet was a very cool band with lots of hits. I never though of them as "glam rock", hell, everyone had stupid haircuts back then. I just liked the music.

RiP Steve Priest , Ballroom Blitz is one of the all time classics.

Damn! Little WIlly was one of my favorites as a kid. He'll be missed.
