The EPA an D the blm are closing off mining and drilling rights on too much land. It's about access, not how dirty the operation is. If you think there is a clean way to get that gas in your car, your wrong. Neither is it clean to dig the platinum group metals, tungsten, copper, tantalum, and other minerals that power your electronics and grant them the processing capabilities they possess.

Besides, the EPA is also know to absolutely devastate some environments, like that #ty nasty gold king mine spill that released three million gallons of toxic water I to the four corners watershed. We have not forgotten that.
