I wonder where they got pictures of that ship that resembles the old steamer? Maybe someone was towing a junk ship in for salvage or something. It looks somewhat like the old ship they are talking about.

How much of this is fake news? Is the ship a real ship?

She was lost in December 1925, going from Charleston to Havana with 32 crew and a load of coal. Her last radio transmission was that they had sailed into a tropical storm, and had taken on water and was listing.
