If you dont vote they win...
If you vote for the big 2 they win...

If enough people stop voting for the lesser of two evils they lose...

The white house doesnt matter... congress matters and they are very weak there... the problem is people arent looking at congress its the figure head they trot out to make speeches that gets people all in a tizzy.

So vote... but vote third party, if people would educate themselves on the process rather than stick their heads in the proverbial sand we wouldnt be in the mess we are in!

Very, very true. The presidential race is a sideshow of little import. The Congressional races are everything! Vote!

What's that old saying?

Money talks.

They talk a whole lot louder than we the people.

Your confusing elections with Democracy. When all the candidates are handpicked by TPTB there is no choice. Hence, no Democracy. You want Democracy? Stop taking it up the wazoo.

Get rid of the system and you would only need about 13 states, most of them on the east & west coast, to win the election. Forget about everyone between the Appalachians and the Rockies - just write them off as "fly over" states. You could ignore over 3/4ths of the land mass of the US - and the people who live there, and still win the election.

We are a Republic - we protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority - look up why the founders set it up that way.

Just say'in....

Keeping in that spirit of things we should change the requirements to win President from 270 votes to whoever gets the most electoral votes. The current system protects the R/D stranglehold, while opening things up could allow some current swing states to become a base for third parties.
