Sheesh! Family ...

Wouldn't you know it?

There is one tornadic storm out there tonight. It spawns an F5. That F5 tracks about 4 or 5 miles north of where my folks are and while it's out there, my dad calls and tell me not to worry. He's got three lights, food and water, two or three battery radios, and it's all ready to go right down in the basement!

Oh, and he's out on the porch watching the clouds swirl ...

*facepalm*

The property is surrounded by trees, so it's not like there is good visibility. A tornado that size would be on them maybe before they know it.

But they were ready ... I love my folks.

They were getting some wicked lightning though. I could hear it snapping through the phone and the thunder.
