In this day and age, with all the ISIS, ISIL, and other rogue groups around these days, one thing keeps entering in my mind.

Everyone knows Kims (NK) agenda.

But why is he such a lone wolf. Why doesnt he team up with (for lack of a better phrase) with these other groups?

It is like ISIL has plans and effectiveness, but no country to call home.

Yet Kim, who has his country, but no plans or effectiveness other than saber-rattling tactics.

Even if they both looks like the bad guys of this world, NK and ISIL are definitely not on the same line :

You know ISIS is evil when North Korea sends condolences

Kim wants to be the center of attention at all times and would never share power with any other person or group. Kim is driven by the love of power, daesh by religion.

Look at how Kim is morally and ethically bankrupt as a reason he does what he does. He is always only thinking of Kim, and he would rather spend his time and his country's resources on his own selfish goals, while people starve to death all around that pig.
His own people might just kidnap and mob him one day, shove a fat apple in his mouth and roast him and eat him before he is even cooked, all the while thinking he is a fat hog and not a person because of starving and becoming delusional with hunger.

You just can't reason with an animal like that, and Kim is less than a common barn animal.
North Korea would be better off with a 20 pound bowling ball as their supreme ruler. But then, so would a lot of countries.

The DPRK has a long history of collusion in various enterprises other with so called "rogue states"

There was an incident in 2013 where a Nork freighter was seized at the Panama Canal in transit from Cuba after a couple of Mig aircraft were found hidden in the hold.

Lots of stuff like that if you care to look hard enough.
