A crew is at work in Boston unearthing a time capsule believed buried by patriots Samuel Adams and Paul Revere.
The 18th-century capsule was left in a cornerstone of the Massachusetts State House, CNN affiliate WBZ reports. The capsule is believed to date from 1795, when construction started on the building.
The cornerstone has been removed because of repair work to the historic building, and a worker from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston was chipping away at it Thursday to get at the capsule.
It's a painstaking process, reports WBZ NewsRadio reporter Carl Stevens, who tweeted about the capsule removal Thursday morning.
The capsule contains rare coins, a Paul Revere plate, papers and other artifacts dating back to the 1600s, said Massachusetts Secretary of State William Galvin, who also heads the state's historical commission.
Galvin told CNN that its contents are expected to be revealed sometime next week.

It's going to be interesting to see what the capsule holds .

Hopefully we get to see the whole of the contents

If they find this guy in the cornerstone, they should put him back -- he's nothing but trouble:

What's worse is that I know all the words to the songs that frog sang.

I found the entire animated short, which is named "One Froggy Evening", on vimoe.com, and provided a link to it below (I couldn't find it on YouTube).

We may be old, but we knew fine culture when we saw it. According to Wikipedia, Stephen Spielberg has called this cartoon short "The Citizen Kane of animated film"; it has been named the #5 cartoons of all time by people in the animation industry, and the U.S. Library of Congress has bestowed it with the label "Culturally Significant".

I tend to agree, but then again I grew up watching this, because they would show it every few weeks on Saturday Mornings.
