And still their history books deny the crimes by Soviet Union. I personally do agree nazi crimes should not be ignored or denied, although neither should Soviet Union´s...

In Estonia, tens of thousands of people, generally more successful people, who were seen as a potential threat to occupation, were taken from their homes with their familes during the night, put into animal trains and sent to Siberia into slave camps... And that happened twice. No word in Russia history books about that...

Something similar happened in every nation Soviet Union occupied, so the total numbers are hard to tell. Not to even speak of Holomodor...

And that is why NATO expanded so rapidly after the fall of the Soviet Union. Never again. That is why Ukraine is the line in the sand.

NATO, as an organisation, did not show that much initiative to expanding, as the nations themselves showed. At least, I can say for Baltics, do not know about other post-Soviet nations. But Baltics wanted NATO and worked hard for it for years to even be considered as a potential member, while there were many in NATO, who did see them rather as a liabilility due them being so small nations. There is too much negative history with Russia and it had to be secured that history would not repeat itself a strong ally was needed for these nations.

Knowing the attitude toward Russia in this area, I have serious doubts about the number of people in Ukraine being in favour of Russian policies. Round here is also large Russian population, yet when the media even considered that a scenario like that could happen here, vast majority of them felt insulted that something like that was even considered...

The Russian military forms an important part of the Crimean economy, that is why there were sincere pro-Russian feelings there. The militants further north are separatists who may reject Russia in a fair referendum; that is why Putin is worried and frustrated.

NATO is only 28 nations and the Ukraine isn't part of it. There is nothing in the Ukraine important enough that will make it a line in the sand. If anything it will just another NATO failure like the war in Afghanistan. NATO is just like the UN and both are useless.

Or the war in the Balkans? Nothing worth fighting for there, either.

On the surface, this should appease Ukrainians - considering the practical genocide perpetrated on them by the Nazis and Stalin. ....Scroll down 4 paragraphs - Quarantine in the Ukraine: The Hidden Holocaust.

So you can't think of anything current to support your position? And no there is nothing in the Balkans or the Ukraine that is worth America going to war over.

The holocaust DID happen and only those with an egenda on the dark side have any reason to deny it, the soviet union did also murder many millions of there own and occupied states so putin should also make it a crime to deny that.
I believe in freedom of speech but only when it is the truth and not lies to lead others astray such a white supremacy movement's and modern fascists, even today in recent history there have been mass murders and ethnic cleansing but the way the NAZI's did it was cold calculating industrial scale mass murder and disposal and every life lost is like the burning of the library of alexandria, all those thought's and dream's snuffed out simply because someone did not like the image they themselves projected on mostly innocent people.
Of course there are lesser know atrocity's as well such the mass murder of native german speakers in the former yugoslavia which included machine gunning, slitting of throats and of course mass buriels, rapes and worst after the end of the second world war as the serbian's whom had been the victims during the war took revenge on people simply because they spoke german as a first language.
en.wikipedia.org...
www.ihr.org...
Of course we are all aware of the more recent history of the balkan states.

Putin needs to stay....

he is doing a great job....

go get them neo-nazis Vlad...

Kinda weird that he's outlawing this when much of his power base is ultra-conservative nationalists - but apparently nationalists are only "neo-Nazi" if they are anti Russia - Russian ones are patriots or something similar
