Can she file to vacate herself as well. We dont need to be borrowing money while in trillions in debt and paying interest on it to them give it to Isreal
Especially when Isreal isnt in debt and can borrow the money themselves.

Things have changed since Friday. Iran's attack on Israel have forced the foreign aid bills to the forefront. This week was supposed to be focused on debating bills related to appliances.

Now, the Senate says they're going to be sending their foreign aid package to the House for approval. If the House doesn't have something to counter with they'll be forced to vote on the Senate's package.

There's no way to get out of this without bringing up Ukraine aid up for a vote, and it will pass. So does Trump still back Johnson now that he's delivering Ukraine aid?

I read a few weeks back that Trump wanted to make Ukraine BORROW from us, and not be just given everything. They have to pay for every bullet and every bomb they get. Everything would be on loan with interest. Trump is a business man first and if the report that I read is true, he is looking for the war in Ukraine to ether end (with Russia winning) or for the US to stop bleeding money on it and make money.

They already have to pay all money that makes it to Ukraine back plus interest (its lend lease, not free money). Only the money that doesn't leave US or Europe (weapon production etc) is exempt from interest or being paid back.

Around 90% of US military aid to Ukraine doesn't leave the US so would be odd to expect Ukraine to pay that back.

That's what I read. Of course, whoever wrote that could have been just yammering and didn't know what he was talking about. There is a lot of that out there ...

Johnson says he will not resign. So let's see if Massie is willing to thrust the party into chaos once again.

Foreign aid bill is getting posted imminently. No changes from what Johnson laid out on Monday. The questions now are whether the 72 hour rule will be waived so this can be voted on this week and whether or not Massie moves forward with his threat.

Democrats in the U.S. House like Johnson too. Trump is trying too hard to win. He's ahead in the polls, but obviously is worried that the Democrats have a blockbuster election cheat up their sleeves. Qanon mentioned "stealth bomber" and "playing a movie role" a few times, so perhaps that's what Donald Trump is doing to ensure he's elected.

To those of us who keep looking at things on the surface, we get upset when Johnson does what appears to be stupid things.

Like this morning, I hear he is going to bring a "Border Bill" to the House Floor for a vote. THAT IS STUPID, because all the border bills I know of, send money to big cities for making the lives better for Biden's migrants, and to the Biden Administration for enhancing border security.

Why can't Republicans get through their head that the BIDEN ADMINISTRATION DOES NOT WANT BORDER SECURITY!!! MyOrkas was IMPEACHED for carrying out Joe Biden's orders! Any money we send them will be used to enrich individuals all up and down the food chain. It will not be used to reduce the number of migrants coming in to America!

Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act of 2022 šŸ˜¬

The Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act of 2022 was an act of the United States Congress that facilitates the supply of materiel to the Ukrainian government in a manner similar to the World War II Lend-Lease Act in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Ukrainian diplomats worked hard to extend the Lend-Lease program beyond September 2023, but it expired on September 30. As of October 1, 2023, the act has been terminated since the fiscal year of 2023 has been over, without any use of Lend-Lease.

From this morning's GOP meeting, there's talk about a adding rule that would increase the threshold to initiate a motion to vacate vote to the foreign aid rules package.

Unofficial sources say the $55 Billion to Ukraine is a LOAN, which will be repaid by Vladimir Putin, who will own Ukraine in another year.

Well that answers that. It's probably backed by natural gas flow from Russia through the Ukraine pipelines. šŸ˜ƒ
