All 7 judges in Colorado agreed that Trump committed insurrection. The three dissenting judges disagreed on procedural grounds.

Considering Smith has nothing to do with that case I have no idea what it has to do with this case.

Try to keep up.
It’s all got to do with the FAKE insurrection.

Your circular arguments with everything that is brought up that goes against your narrative are baffling.

You are like the Fonz, you can never say you are wrong.

Plenty of private citizens have been charged by special counsels and convicted. So what precedent has been thrown out?

We still moving goalposts?

Ok then, what specifically are you speaking of?

Instead of reading biased articles maybe you should read the actual laws and regulations that relate to the topic in question.

So you are claiming once again that you know more than those guys?

Have you ever filed a brief to bring something in front of the SC?

They obviously must have an inkling of how the law works being law professors.

Edit - You are always so quick to dismiss something like this when if it doesn’t fit your narrative aaaand try to tell me to read the law?

I don’t give a sh!t about how the law is written, there are smarter people like Meese and his pals to figure that out.

Shot yourself in the foot bud on that one....

I'm claiming that there's nearly 250 years of precedence establishing the authority of special counsels.

How many times has a president been brought on charges in that 250 year history?

.

The exact same number of times a sitting President tried to illegally stay in power after the Electoral College told him he lost.

and other than complaining, what did Trump do to not relinquish power?

For LEGAL and U.S. HISTORY reasons, some U.S. Government authority must rule that the U.S. Capitol event of January 6, 2023 WAS an INSURRECTION, or WAS NOT an INSURRECTION.

WHICH U.S. GOVERNMENT BODY WOULD RENDER THIS DETERMINATION?

that would be the courts, judicial branch. colorado court ruled it was an insurrection and then hgher court confirmed it. two courts now. that enough for history?

Judge’s Ruling Confirms Trump Incited Insurrection

A Colorado court makes it official: Trump is an insurrectionist

legally part of history now.

Obviously the Colorado Supreme Court.

Biden called it an insurrection.

He also calls his oatmeal, Gary.

I guess we can dismiss what the President thinks. No legal determination from Mr. Bottom10%.

Who appointed Jack Smith?

Merrick Garland. Did Garland order his DOJ to prosecute anyone for "Insurrection"?

Honestly it's a good question and one that may be answered shortly. Section 3 of the 14th Amendment is pretty vague on how it's enforced. Other aspects of the 14th Amendment specify they're enforced by Congress.

On the other hand, the Constitution is very clear that the States are granted autonomy on how they run their elections.

But a state cannot make a decision for the entire country. Colorado can't say Jan6th was an Insurrection. And Florida can't say Jan6th was NOT an insurrection.

Garland had no authority to do that.
None of this is how anything works.
The federal government is afraid and are now changing the rules and making it up as they go.
Because democracy.

I DONT KNOW but has your caps lock got a mind of ITS OWN

I ask this of you mutilple times yet you never answer, no doubt my post will get removed for being off topic, but it seems since Trump does this more frequently so do you, is it a sign of affection you have for him? or do you feel it somehow makes you point more valid

Just asking out of curiosity

My CAPS LOCK follows my emotion. If I want to stress a word, it's easier (ON ATS) to stress a word by capitalizing it, than it is to do a copy/paste of the word(s) into the "bold" or "Underline" box. Qaint old-time system, but annoying when you're in a hurry. Can't just drag over the word(s), click "b" and have that word Bolded, like modern software operates.

HAPPY and SAFE Holidays!
