New Mexico governor issues order to suspend open and concealed carry of guns

They've been testing the water for quite sometime. If I remember correctly NM is one of, if not THE ONLY, states that actually limits how many firearms you can carry at a given time.

A very, very strange and nonsensical law to have, but those infringements have to start somewhere, I suppose.....

A federal judge on Wednesday blocked part of New Mexico Democratic Gov. Michele Lujan Grisham's public health order suspending the carrying of firearms in public in Albuquerque.

It took two business days to have a judge do the injunction, I believe that is what is called right?, I am not a legal expert.

But why the governor will face political damage doing something like this.

I mean this is not only pro guns advocates but also groups from both sides, democrats and republicans condemning the actions.

This was the only logical outcome.

Now she needs to be litigated into obscurity.

And removed from her position by violating her oath of office.

This was an Ill-conceived idea from the start, that was doubled down on. You must make this legally painful and set precedent here.

This is the event that the governor of. New Mexico was referring to. In othe news the Republicans are looking at a way to stop the govenor from using the heath act for enforcement of anything thst does not pertain yo heath. She uses it allot and the Republicans going to put a stop that.
