Canelo nearly got his butt handed to him. He was flat footed practically the entire fight and really didn't box much, but instead kept looking for that power punch as usual to end it.

Canelo is boring to me and his fights are cherry picked in his favor. Returning to Guadalajara just makes me think about how involved the cartel(s) are logistically and otherwise in Canelo's deals and dealings.

Turned out to be a nice scrap.
Ryder is one tough SOB

Canelo seems to be on the downswing, judging by this last performance.
He used to be best at rolling and turning away punches, but recently he doesn't seem interested in upper body defensive movement.
Took way too many uppercuts on the inside for a fighter of his caliber.

I feel like he's got a little too much going on with other business dealing and golf.
Boxing is still his main focus, but it seems like his multitude of other businesses and interests are taking away from it.

Should be interesting to see how he looks next time out.
