Some songs from the Guardian of the Galaxy movie. I was never much of a fan, they never were that big in the comics or the spinoffs or cartoon series they were featured in. But as a movie its pretty enjoyable and fun, they even had a Thanos cameo in the movie. I take it this means somewhere down the line in some future Marvel movie Thanos is going to be ripping some superheros a new one.

Most villains generally want to take over the world, or the universe, but never really succeed, there always thwarted by those pesky superheros, I think in the comics or in one of the versions of it, Thanos actually succeed and did take over the universe became the supreme being/god, or some such, and wiped out all life. Then he got bored and reverted everything back to before he became all powerful. Go figure eh! But anyways seems there all lining up these marvel movies, I expect some day to see Thanos make more then an cameo in some future movie.

Whitby Abbey!
I slept in that abbey car park in a squishy car back years ago with my sister and cousin and got scared sh*tless from noises from the graveyard. We danced the moves from Thriller at 1am to make ourselves laugh. ETA good ol song too.

Early 1979...a beautiful Belly Dancer from Hollywood...playing Idaho Falls, Idaho...
The establishment played this every night... Every Night...

ETA: Guess I should add...
This is a "Navy" town...
The bar was within walking distance of the apartment I shared with two fellow Naval friends/classmates...and, we would regularly go to said 'bar'...
The belly dancer was simply a bonus...whose initial 1-week engagement got extended to something like 4, 5 or 6 weeks...
When the engagement ended - one of my roommates invited her to our apartment for a "Farewell" dinner.
She accepted...and, the story that resulted from that, is one that, to this day, I laugh myself to tears...recalling.
