I like Pawn Stars. Does that mean I'm officially 'old' now?

Okay .. I admit it ... I like Pawn Stars. I'm watching a Pawn Stars marathon right now. Usually I avoid reality tv shows. They are seriously sucky. I know a lot of Pawn Stars is scripted but I really like watching all the old stuff coming in the shop and the stories behind them. It's an old folks show. Early evenings I like to get in my pajamas, stretch out on the couch, and watch the show. (and yes, before someone asks, I like my dinner before 5 pm as well).

Does the fact that I like 'young' shows like 'American Horror Story' and 'Southpark' counter the 'oldness' of Pawn Stars? Or am I officially in the oldster category now?

I like Chumly. They try to pass him off as not so bright ... but of everyone there he's the only one who is really trying to get healthy and in shape. Well .. he started it off with people there trying to get in shape ...

I can't tell if Rick is married or not. His wife is never mentioned. And one time he said to Rick ... 'your mother wants your cousin to work here'. He never said her name or said 'my wife' ....

My 8 year old son likes pawn stars.
When I get home from work, I'm going to tell him that Flyers Fan said he was old.

He apparently is married. Her name is DeAnna Burditt. She isn't his son's mother though( the mother's name is Kim). They were married in 2013.

I wonder if he likes all the old toys that go through the shop?
And now I'm wondering if he was reincarnated from an earlier era that has items going through the shop.
(my mind goes to the metaphysical pretty quick).

Ahhh ... that explains some of the older shows.
He was probably divorced in the shows before 2013.
And then he remarried recently.
None of that was in the show. They are keeping things to the 'Pawn Shop' and not anything personal.
Smart of them.

He makes me take him to pawn shops and last night he told me that he wants to go to an antique shop.

BTW, I just saw a pic of Chumlee's GF... she is Lebanese and not hard to look at. The pic I saw had her in a belly dancer outfit.

I like pawn star$ also. Its a great show and I mainly watch it for the antics of chumlee and bighoss.
I also watch them storage locker shows such as Auction Hunters with Alan Haff & Ton Jones, thats a good show.

Hmmmm. I don't think so.

But I have found myself watching Golf recently every weekend. I think THAT in itself makes me old I think. I never liked watching sports, with the exception of my Packers and always preferred to play them instead. And my few excursions into the Golf realm always resulted in things being broke and much use of the 1st Aid kit. And one Emergency Room trip after I lost a club and it smacked a friend upside of his head.

I was relegated to being their cart driver/caddy after that.

I love watching Turner Classic Movies. They're having 31 days of Oscar right now, so there are lots of good old movies to watch. Does that make me old?

Only if they're in Black and White.

I always hated that Turner always tried to colorize many of the older flicks.
