Last week, someone asked me what my thoughts were about "life after death". THE question religious folk ask non-religious folk. "Well, what do you think happens after we die, then?" I've thought a lot about it actually.

As a Massage Therapist, I've learned to feel more intensely than a very very large portion of the population. I can feel the fibers, little nuances within a muscle, "knots", minute tissue and structural changes.... and for the point of this post, I feel energy. Very strongly. Now, I'm actually a sports massage therapist, so I practice more with the "Western" physical aspect of massage vs the energy, but that doesn't mean I don't feel it. In fact, I am so sensitive to the energy, there are times I will wake up with some random pain in my body, and come to find out that one of my clients that day is the reason for it. After I work on that individual, my pain goes away. Transference. Something I've had to learn how to block. Anyway - just setting up a basis for why I think the way I do.

Our bodies are made up of energy. Vibrations, and energy. Everyone can agree on that. Our thoughts, memories... everything is a vibration and form of energy. Now, the hypothetical deep thinking comes into play - When we die, energy doesn't die. Energy can slow - but it doesn't disappear. Energy can be released, but it doesn't die. It transforms, but doesn't disappear. As our bodies decay into the soil, plant life grows, sands shift.... energy is absorbed and released, and has to go somewhere.
There are many people born with the ability to feel and sense vibrations and energy. As children, we are much more attuned to it. So, when you hear of reincarnation cases in children - who is to say the child wasn't actually born with the memories/vibrations from someone who passed hundreds of years ago? Or is in tune enough to sense a strong energy. And why they can remember things they never encountered, or sense or see entities. Moving/living energy. It could explain why their bodies sometimes resemble the deceased. Our DNA is energy. Every thing about us is energy down to the most basic cellular level.
Think of it like radio waves, etc. If we could actually hear and see them without the use of electronics. They are all around us - data, pictures, sounds - moving around the air. Have you ever had a song in your head, only to turn on the radio and it is playing the exact song? Our energy/vibrations picking up the sounds and colors that create flashes in our brains. But that is going beyond the point of this post. Forgive me.

That form of thinking also gives religions a way to continue to believe in the soul. Most religions don't believe in reincarnation of the soul. The general belief is it goes to heaven/hell - whatever you believe. But it's that part of us that makes us unique religions generally agree on also. It can move on to whatever realm you believe - but our physical energy stays in this one. Or, maybe it doesn't - and we get multiple universes! There are so many things regarding quantum physics and the like that we don't understand, but it's oh so fascinating!

Anyway - hope you enjoyed my "life after death" thinking.

Well you obviously put some thought into this and I have my own take on the process that I will share...

What is the Meaning of Life and Where Do We Come From?

Throughout the history of human existence these 2 questions have been asked over and over again.

Many have done their best to answer both of them.

I do not pretend to know the answer to either question, but I have my own beliefs about both.

There are different aspects of us as humans that are separate from other aspects of us as spiritual entities, but our spiritual being must exist in order for our human condition to function.

We have a mixture of creationism and evolutionism that are not mutually exclusive; you can not have one without the other. In order to be created we had to evolve and in order to evolve we had to be created, so the argument for one over the other is moot.

As to the question about the meaning of life…again I do not pretend to know the answer, but I have my own beliefs.

We are here in this human condition to learn a series of lessons that are necessary for the evolution of our soul. I happen to believe this takes many incarnations and transcends other dimensions and other existence’s besides this human form.

In terms others may understand better…Think of your soul as a digital hard drive…and each life a digital disc…each disc contains different information from each life that is stored on the hard drive.

You can access the information and each disc needs to be kept free of scratches in order to be played correctly, do not confuse scratches with mistakes. Mistakes are important; the scratches if allowed to happen will cause the same mistakes to occur…this is a detriment to the evolution of your soul.

It is important to not make the same mistakes over and over again; this is something the human condition doesn’t do very well.

I would be able to write more on this, but I think I will stop here and let some of your comments dictate further discussion.

Kindest regards,

Soul

P.S. We are all connected and I consider all of you to be soul mates.

Thanks for sharing, Star and Flag for your effort!

Everything is energy in some form........everything
Your consciousness is no exception.
Plasma clouds may possess intelligence far beyond our own...
Your Ka dives into "life" as a swimmer dives into a pool.....
It emerges at the end of that life to the space between the stars from which it came.....Perhaps to return to another life here....or to dive into some other life far across the galaxy or even the universe....
Life is the activity of the multiverse....its what it is for, and why it exists...and what keeps it going...
matter is energy, you, the real you are also energy, but vibrating in a different frequency......

Thanks Soul!
In the terms of our souls - I'm still on the fence about their existence, though lean more on the "existence" side - and completely agree with what you said. If the soul exists, it seems that would be the purpose.

Precisely! Which is what I was explaining to my friend. I gave a very brief overview of the hour long conversation his question created. haha

Here's my problem with this whole thing: One part of me does not buy into reincarnation as current believers of that mindset tend to voice about. Like who in their right mind would want/ or choose to be reincarnated in a North Korean detention camp, for instance? Only someone who wants to learn about repression, slavery and suffering first-hand; but, why choose or accept to be born into it when observation and study from another plane can teach us about it? I could only conclude that they somehow would choose such a fate in order to overcome it and by overcoming it I mean they would see it as a means of reaching a higher level of perfection. But isn't that an irrational picture? To have such pride and overconfidence in one's ability to do that?

The other part of me says we only have one kick at the can. When our little energy factory closes down, maybe it just dissipates and goes into the atmosphere. Maybe the odd person might pick it up and absorb it into their own set of factors and thus claim to have had a past life. I don't claim to have the answers. From the perspective of one who tells me that we return in order to learn more lessons, what about our acquisitions of bad habits and corruption we might not have had in the life before?

I do believe in my own version of it, without any religious connotations.

I tried to find a very interesting thread to link here, that you may be interested in, that has Quantum ties, but even though I posted in it, and knew the author, I cannot find it, for the life of me. Heck, it isn't even showing wildtimes (author of the thread) under member search!!!! It gave some very interesting books to read.

DANG IT!!!

This life is only one wave within an infinite ocean. This wave may rise and fall, but it is by no means the last wave you will experience. All waves are made from the ocean and all waves die and then are reborn as new waves somewhere else within that same ocean.

The spirit or soul is the wind, the waves are the body. There will always be wind therefore there will always be waves as well.

That's one way I try to look at it.

Apparently wildtimes was banned, that's probably why you can't find her in the member search.

If you guys keep going on, you will realize this - the souls never die they .just "gone"

If everyone accept it and keep going on, we will build a bio machine for the souls to inhibit, so they dont "gone". Ghost in a shell.

If its success and we keep going on, our soul will live forever, without the need of external input. OOBE like.

Since we dont die, we will move around the universe in our body suit and ignore time.

And we will found an alien, that die and their energy dissipated and recycled - "gone".
We will study them, why "gone".

Just like what the aliens doing to us
Am I gone too far?

Where does a candle flame go when blown out?

What happens when a light switch is turned off?

The processes that create the 'energy' stop, it's as simple as that.

I think the energy cannot be created and cannot be destroyed, it just converted to another type.
I also think
Souls is not created or gone, but transfered to another......hmm dunno what and where and when (the main problem)

There are residue however, candle and lights - mostly heat.
Souls - ghosts/that electromagnetic reading the paranormal seeker love so much.
After time, these residue will be gone/weaken, so do the "paranormal phenomena"

Hmm souls talking is not my stuff, better do the fearmonger thread

I think we can agree that no one seems to know what 'energy' is. Nothing is "made of" energy. Energy isn't "released" when we die, nor does it persist in some form of reincarnation. A dead body, a corpse, a skeleton, being physical systems, still have energy.

If stars penetrate vast distances of space with there light, that means when light is sucked into a black hole for that black hole to have a bottom and work like a container light would have to shine out of it's center.

Because it does not that means the light is then transferred to another space time continuum. Otherwise we'd see light as it's being collected.

Because we don't the black hole leads to another destination local if you will.

Meaning that all the energy from the dead star that was sucked into the black hole went to another part of space where it ended as the fuel core for the new sun.

Where else is the sun consuming energy to fuel it's power? The sun isn't feeding off the vacuum. And we all agree it's power comes from the core.

Energy just isn't created and destroyed it always existed and because of this we can say that black holes are feeding stars.

If that is true space is mirroring time. Once one area gets to old it moves to another. Creating past present and future. Meaning that dimensions never die. They are just reborn somewhere else.

If this is true for our life support then this is true for ourselves.

Meaning reincarnation is so plausible to not believe in it makes you disconnected from science fact and reality.

Exactly it's like when mercury passes in front of the sun and all you can see is that tiny black spot in the center. Like when you look at the pagan symbol for the sun it shows Mercury as a black spot in the middle.

It means that sun is getting fed from a black hole!

The universe is an intense in your face S.O.B.

S&F.

I Hope you like the way we proved it through planetary bodies and pagan art!

All connected mirroring the same thing yet so far apart! Yet all created from star dust!
