Teeing up what could be a politically explosive fight before the midterm elections in November, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel on Monday will recommend billions of dollars in annual budget cuts that would reduce housing allowances and other benefits, increase health-care premiums, and limit pay raises, CBS News confirms.

Yeah, cut military benefits. Don't bring them home or anything just cut their benefits. Then when they get back home, they wont have a job, well also label them crazy so they can't get guns. By the time they get back it will be impossible to pay for an education because its so expensive. Besides the jobs they train for wont be there when their done training because our entire country is training for the same set of jobs.

What a conundrum.

Anyway, at least were bring them home in time to fight the coming invasion from the Asian continent. The Chinese are probably building boats with all the steal their producing and buying from all over the world.

Do the math, 2.1 billion chinese and 390 million Americans.

Oh but you know whats better, their trying to disarm us! Hah.

Wait, i just came up with a solution. Put them all in prison and charge 800x what it cost for a bag of Ramen noodles and put them to working making weapons for the next war! Then release them in time to send them back to war!

Might not be all bad if Pelosi can just get 'em cut down to that 29 hour work week. They need time to pursue happiness too, right?

They are doing this because they have the civillians in an economic vise....now the soldiers and airmen etc would normally just do their enlistment and get out but theres nowhere to go because of the down turn.

There's two things that are the most important in the U.S. which cannot waiver.

1) The military industrial complex
2) The big banks and businesses

To keep those two happy they'll gladly rip off the citizens and make their lives a living hell.

Maybe the armed forces need their own union. Then you would see Washington stand in line to kiss the arses of the corrupt union bosses and have a whole new source of kick backs garnished from the wages of soldiers as dues.

They keep threatening to cut pay every year, and every year it doesnt happen, at this time, I wouldnt worry about it

I would be totally for this. ANYTHING they can do to drive the enlistment quota into the the ground is win/win for the citizens of this country. ANYTHING that makes the JCS look exactly like what they are, POLITICAL HACKS is a good thing. ANYTHING that keeps the knuckleheads in the WASH D.C. old boys club from using our armed forces personnel as sound bites for NATION BUILDING and POLITICALLY MOTIVATED wars is a great idea. ANYTHING that makes the rest of the country say, why do UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGN NATIONALS get free stuff for they're families, and the WELFARE checks just keep on flowing. Nice to see his majesty and his lords and ladies starting a direct attack on the children of our war fighters. But when you have stellar examples like kerry and mccain to hold up as examples what do you expect. Of course, what they take from our military families, they are going to be more than happy to ship that off to iraq, a-stan and ukraine. All cultures that hate us with every fiber in they're being. Of course, being attacked by scum is nothing new for the military. they'll say what they always say when under the guns of people like pelosi, ried, kennedy's (less JFK - mostly decent guy) clinton's (both of the criminals) feinstien, boxer, and the obama's, pinnetta, gates, and the rest of the demon spawn. The families will just say "bring it on, what else you got?" Rock on military families! The lords and ladies in D.C. may hate you, but some of US? Will tell you what everyone should tell you. You have no peer. Well Done.

Do you want to find peace, for America and its soldiers?

Simply take out all 535 corrupt U.S. Representatives and Senators -- along with all their Rothschild trust fund puppet masters -- as they find corrupt replacements, take them out as well.

Eliminate corruption from the top-down, giving no quarter.

You will end the senseless wars, with a minimum loss of life.

The rest of the world is building up their militaries, and the current administration GUTS ours.

Meanwhile the same administration has increased social engineering spending.

Military suggests cuts, people jump up in the air, worried that American's military will fol overnight if we don't continue spending 50% of GDP in the thing.

The military NEEDS reduction if you are to save your own country. It's gotten ridiculous.

Well I don't know how to see this issue, as we know the government tried to cut the benefits of the retirees and look what happen, the bill was passed during the fall last year and was repealed in this month. So it may or may not happen, just remember that this is now active duty they are going after, I don't think the government wants their military active duty be unhappy.

No good for elections either.

I did not notice any congressman turning down their automatic, yearly cost of living raise. No sure of the amount, but it is somewhere between six and 7 percent, which when you multiply that by $250,000 plus each senator makes -- it could support a vet trying to learn how to use his new broken body and mind. It could pay for medical research. It could close our borders. It could support a prison for lying cheating politicians (especially if we include chain gangs and pink underwear).

He also wants to cut the number of people in the military. Which I completely agree with. We don't need a huge military with occupations all over the world. We shouldn't be the world police.

Do you realize how many blue collar income tax paying jobs that is ?

Because those companies make other things too.

The defense industry is what pays for most of social engineering programs.

AT a 50% reduction we are going to see a 50% increase of social engineering programs.

The defense industry introduces new wealth, social programs just recycle it.

Hows about, rather than cutting benefits, we cut the actual fat from our military budget? You know, the BILLIONS of dollars that they spend? Ya know, the greatest consumer of fossil fuels on the planet? Ya know, the guys who hand out no bid contracts right and left?

That the defense department effectively subsidizes the american middle class and supports basically the entire US economy?

That in itself is one of the prime reasons your nation is turning itself into a third world country from the bottom up.

They cut Commissary benefits, they cut HOLA, COLA.

They wanted to make it hurt to the regular soldier and his/her family.

There are thousands of things they could have cut without hurting the men and women who serve.

But they didn't.

they wanted to make this painful, noticeable, and very loud.
