My internal dialogue creator was saying something like,

SOCHI, Russia — Members of the performance-art group Pussy Riot were attacked on a public plaza Wednesday by Cossacks brandishing whips and discharging pepper spray, a day after police picked them up and held them for nearly four hours without charges.

An Associated Press video showed the Cossacks advancing on the five women and one man with whips, knocking them down and striking them. The performers had just been shown gathering quickly at an outdoor plaza in Sochi, about 20 miles from the Olympic Park, taking off coats, putting on their ski masks and preparing to perform when the Cossacks attacked.

Considering they just finished a jail sentence they knew what was coming. Personally I liked it better when they had sex in museums.

On the plus side, her hand banging technique improved greatly once she was pepper sprayed. So it wasn't a total loss.

Political game of stratego. They are nothing more than a nuisance to Putin. But if he were to suicide them he would suffer way too much flak from the international community. So he can beat and jail them but they probably have a pass for a "disappearance."

They would be under the same impression, which allows them to continue to berate Putin in their own way without worrying about the consequences his actual enemies worry about.

By the way, very sexist statement by you. What you should have said is "how can anyone not give a crap about non-violent protestors being attacked by violent authority figures."

Women are just as capable as men in beating non-violent people.

All i'm trying to say is that all of this is getting out of hand.
Russia is obviusly not the best country to express your rights. Why?
Cuz # like this happens and i don't think it's going to change.
The easy solution for someone who's in the HBTQ industy would be to re-locate.
I'm not saying that this is the right thing to do, just pointing at the easy solution.
