The high and mighty Broncos could not see fit to deal with a teammate that demonstrated his faith practiced openly on the field. It seemed to me that John Elway and management couldn't wait to get rid of Tim Tebow and his public recognition of his savior and strength. They did not have the patience to teach Tim and tired of his open Christianity.

Tim, If you see this take a knee, recite a prayer, and do a victory dance. God has exacted his revenge for their persecution and He will have the last laugh.

alternatively, the seahawks could of simply beat the broncos decidedly 43 to 8.
I didn't even bother with the stuperbowl but I don't think God had anything to do with peyton manning throwing the ball to the other team and missing passes.

sometimes a bad game is just a bad game, anyways, if God wanted to enact revenge i think he would of done so to the NY Jets for having tebow sit behind that other equally bad player *shrug*

God is as to American Football

as my right testicle is to Quantum Physics.

You, my "friend" (also known as the OP) really need to remove certain factors from the equation. You're talking utter silliness.

Tebow won a playoff game with the broncos, he was given more then enough time. And do you realize how much those teams make just for going? In no way is it a punishment outside of the W/L column and stats for the loser to have gone and lost at the superbowl. Again out side of the competitive aspect of it.

And BTW...

If I were "God"...and I were truly pissed at the Broncos....

LIGHTNING time...all over the field....

"Gee golly willickers, it's amazing how every single lightning strike that just occurred, without a cloud in the sky, managed to hit a Bronco teammate unerringly with each and every strike!!!"

I mean, come on, I'll wager that even "God" has fun from time to time....

remember if you guys disagree with the OP you don't necessarily have to bash him. hopefully that's not the way this thread turns out, i'd hate to be a part of that

Oh, you're part of it....

The mere thought that God is somehow involved in the outcome of a sports game...is purely laughable.

I mean, isn't there a child dying in Ethiopia? Oh, wait...that only happened back in the 80's when Bob Geldoff gave a crap.

So, yeah, maybe "God" isn't worried about the homeless, Americans who cannot afford to feed themselves let alone their children. US Soldiers who are being screwed over by the Gov't. Wow, I could just go on, couldn't I?

But no..."God" gives two f$%ks about the SuperBowl. Yepp. You're part of it bucko, you're part of it!!!

Are you drunk? I disagreed with his opinion in a semi-formal mature way..and when i point out we can tell him "no i don't see it that way" in a polite manner without being a gang of forum bullies...you suddenly appear and validate my reasoning

stop being a forum bully, forum bully.

Oh no, you're not going to go and tell a hall monitor, or THE PRINCIPLE are you now?

I mean, come on. There is NO difference in saying what the OP did and that THE EASTER BUNNY exacted it's revenge on the SUPERBOWL....

Or, MY GOLDFISH did it...

Or...BOZO THE IMMORTAL CLOWN FROM HELL

OR....or...OR...or...OR...or...OR....

Really, you're part of it. Accept it, and move on.

Consider yourself bullied. Sheesh.

It is completely possible to have open discourse, disagree, and part amicably on ATS with people who belive alien reptiles are rulling the world...

And yet Suggest a God looks out for people of his faith, and its open ridicule.

Ive always loved that dichotomy that occurs on ATS when ever someone of faith professes it.

Aliens, Bigfoot, Flat Earth, Hollow Earth, Fake Moon landings, and any other meta physical concept that strikes a random newagers fancy, all fine for cordial open discourse.

Expound a faith in a religion, and its NONESENSE CRAZY TALK.

I will post to bump this particular remark. If you don't agree, say so and move on. We're not here to lynch members or throw stones. God or no god, memories are made. Good times were had by everyone. Except that guy who lost his 10.4 million dollar bet. Poor sucker.

This whole thread should be closed, its the same reason last nights thread was burned because of the same malevolence being used.
Ever since ATS went commercial it has dragged in some of the dumbest, blog slapping idiots around while at the same time we have lost some of the smartest people in their particular fields of industry which made this site truly great allowing for thought provoking, intellectual threads, not like the # we have to deal with now.

Everyone is allowed to have an opinion, just as everyone is allowed to not click on a thread when they know exactly what they'll find in it.

In the many years I've been viewing ATS, I've seen the ridicule in just about every type of thread you listed. Don't get all butt hurt just because someone is picking on your invisible friend.

I just want to know why? In all of gods superpowers, and knowing how every single thing about every possible thing forever, would it possibly care about a football game?

God works in mysterious ways. Who can deny that Russel Wilson acknowledged his creator and showed humility. The Denver Broncos seemed to be embarrassed by Tim. Pride goeth before the fall. Pride surely did go before the fall on National TV. Maybe God used that audience to make a point.

While they all may be disheartened that they didn't win, I feel most of them, denver, would think of it as a blessing to have been able to make it to the big game. Tebow was release due to football reasons, joe public eats up the bible do right type. Denver didn't feel that he able to quaterback the team at the level they wanted. Had nothing to do with his faith

Yeah... "punishment" coming in the form of losing a game and having to go home to supermodels and a mansion must really suck.
