Defense Sec. Hagel has called the boys in the bunkers to say Hi ( and thanks for being on the job ) .

Why is this in the paper this morning, and wht does this make me nervous ? I think I've seen more talk about nukes in the last few years than I did in all the Cold War . Makes me wonder. Seems like a lot of exposure about one of the most secret of all ' mainstream ' commands...

You post a YouTube link, but mention "The Paper". Is there link to an article? That way we can comment on that.Is this what you are talking about?

abcnews.go.com...

The scandal has created great strain on the remaining launch officers, forcing them to do more 24-hour shifts in the launch centers than normal.

Yes, that's exactly it... thanks. Don't know that it means anything, but- why even talk about it in the news - when there soesn't seem to be much to the ' story ' ?

He's just lecturing the guys about honest conduct and thanking those who are pulling double shifts on our nukes.

Great, tired zombies (or speed freaks) are at the switches.
