Okay, we all remember the Red Bull jump from 24 miles above the Earth, well they have finally put out the footage from the cameras that were on Felix Baumgartners suit.

Here is that footage...

Breathtaking to say the least, but also a view very few get to see.

Enjoy.

That was surreal, HD high speed dirt at its finest.

I wish you could see what I can see.

Sometimes you have to be up really high, to understand how small you are.

I'm going home now.

Felix Baumgartner

Indeed, "Red Bull gives you more than just wings - it gives you balls"

S&F - thanks for the cool vid.

No problem I was waiting for them to finally post this, and I am glad they did.

That's so awesome! Feel the same as the day he did it.....4 mins of butt clenching. Followed by tears of joy.

Nice to see the 1st person POV. That spin looked awful from ground cameras...to the point that they cut the feed in fear....

Was hoping to see if he would put up a vapor cone like a jet....but what more could we want...
Great footage!

Edit: wonder why it took so long to release..well if they ever ask me to try this......they can have all my NOPES!..

Cool vid. It's funny that we might have a better view than Felix himself did in the footage from these cameras. For a good portion of that jump, his face visor was fogging up from a failed heating element. So imagine setting all these free-fall records and having this otherwise spectacular view hazed over by your own breath. (I think that may have been more disappointing than the spin he complained about, and you can kind of hear it in his voice and probably explains why he wasn't talking to people on the ground.) But there's still something that must be awesome about being the one up there and doing it, and having all the great footage avaiable to talk about and relive that moment.
