CAMBRIDGE, Md. — The House Republican leadership is trying to sell their colleagues on a series of broad immigration principles, including a path to legal status for those here illegally.

And this folks is how Republicans lose the mid terms.

Cruz is right:

And immigrations officials are right:

The officers who would be charged with approving millions of applications from illegal immigrants for legal status warned Congress this week that they can’t handle the workload, and said the change would guarantee criminals and others would be approved to remain in the country Read more: Follow us: @washtimes on Twitter

Here we have both Democrats, and Republicans tell the entire country when it becomes politically advantageous to either side the law doesn't mean jack snip.

Don't really care what side of this argument people fall on, but it is perfectly clear.

illegals are just another political pawn to both sides.

The best interests of the nation be damned.

Our government implicitly granted amnesty to illegal immigrants decades ago. The only difference now is a "path to citizenship" guarantees government gets to impose taxes and corporations get access to even more cheap labor. Plus "chain migration" ensures at least 33 million will be riding in on this gravy train.

Its purity much always been this way, now its just in your face and asking "we the people " what are you going to do about it ?

The ones in the GOP perpetrating this madness are way beyond " RINO's ".
