Knox spoke fluent Italian.
a language she became fluent in during her four years in Capanne prison outside of Perugia while she battled charges that she murdered her roommate.

I do see that many Americans are sticking up for her because she is an american.

I Those with a predetermined mindset that she is innocent will see no evidence or case against her, whereas those with no view or who believe in her guilt see the actions of someone who is guilty and see the evidence of guilt.

Knox spoke fluent Italian.
LOL. The very article you linked to specifically says she learnt fluent Italian IN JAIL.....
a language she became fluent in during her four years in Capanne prison outside of Perugia while she battled charges that she murdered her roommate.
While she was being interrogated she was NOT fluent in the language, having only learnt to speak it fluently AFTER the interrogations and when she was in jail.
Talk about a massive FAIL on your part!!
While you're doing your own 'research', learn how to read properly perhaps?edit on 31/1/2014 by Kryties because: (no reason given)

You are a complete fool.
Knox was held in prison from 2007. Here trial was in 2009.
I think i am trying to communicate here with a Moron.

So you are more qualified to pass a verdict differently to that of an Italian court?
taly's carnivalesque judicial process, where there is never order in the court, the lawyers and defendants constantly interrupting the proceedings with groans and catcalls and wild gesticulations, while the press in the gallery yammers away like the kids in the back of the classroom. The prosecution's failure to establish motive or intent ("We live in an age of violence with no motive," said one prosecutor). And the fact that prosecutors did not immediately drop the case against Knox and Sollecito after the bloody fingerprints and footprints came back matching a 20-year-old petty thief named Rudy Guede.
Judicial appointments in Italy are made through nepotism, juries aren't properly sequestered, and the courts are in dire need of reform.
Statistics like this give a glimpse into a chaotic, byzantine legal system which not only reduces citizens to despair and has senior judges tearing out their hair, but acts as a serious disincentive to foreign companies planning to invest and a powerful brake on the euro zone's third economy.
Justice system, born in a police state, protects only itself. Defendants like Knox are just pawns.
So what's going on with this latest Knox verdict? It is essentially a prosecutorial face-saving effort.

Umm, except that the INTERROGATION took place straight after her arrest? It was the INTERROGATION that she could not understand well, as the other poster was pointing out.
Who is the fool now mate?

Do you have a link where it says that she (a) didn't speak italian well enough at the trial and (b) that she was denied a translator at the trial?

Maybe you should take a Degree in Psychology and the signs that can be read into eye contact.
It can determine if a person is lying. As Knox was.

But according to the Italian courts it was them also. Shouldn't the US justice system respect their findings and help extradite her?.
She has been tried (again) and found guilty, in my book she is a murderer.

It is a well known fact, easily findable with a Google search, that Knox not only did not have access to a translator at her interrogation, she was also denied access to a lawyer.

In the United States there is a double jeopardy rule for a reason. To prevent just such a thing as a justice system trying and retrying a case until they get a verdict they want.
To extradite her would mean accepting a double jeopardy case as being legitimate.

Just read it through and come back and tell me she is innocent.
