Would This Suggestion Be Possible to Implement?

I don't know how you all feel about this, but I would like to know when I am getting flags and stars on topics I contributed to. Wouldn't it be nice to know? How hard would it be to have little flag and star icons that pop up when they happen? Or a message like we get when there is a reply...seems like the same program that does that could send a message when you get flags or stars. I know it could still be anonymous, so that shouldn't matter.

no way dude! With all the stars and flags I amass, all the flashing indicators might give me an epileptic episode

I just flagged this thread while you are asleep, and it woke you up. Like an alarm clock, but going off randomly (ATS water torture).
