My Stars Lost Their Sticky

I'm using ATS mobile and for some reason when I give a star it doesn't stick!

I don't know if it is my device or a bug or...

Is anyone else having this problem?

I think it has something to do with the number of stars and flags you give vs the amount you receive but I honestly have no idea.

high karma in reality is scary, so i wouldn't mind keeping it low

I have a huge case of don't give a crap about Stars and Flags. Although I will admit I get frustrated when I see duplicate thread and two year old hoaxes get a ton of flags and stars. Mostly because it shows a complete lack of research on a forum that in my mind should be all about the research.

I will care when I can trade or sell my flags and stars for ATS gear that I would be too embarrassed to wear in public but could sell to members with lesser stars. Kinda like someone wanted to buy my high honor account on Americas Army.....

I had the same problem some time ago and posted a thread to the board forum about it. Here's the opinion of what I got out of the replys:

The stars don't mean jack

No one seems to care about them (although that's a lie, a few years ago, I witnessed a discourse between two members where one was pretty much demanding that the other member star a post) and the ones who claim that always have thousands and thousands

Even though no on supposedly cares about them, they are still a part of ATS where members can show appreciation for posts and participation in a thread so it's frustrating that it doesn't work as it should

It must be a glitch in the system that comes and goes

I have the same problem on an android tablet. However, I found if I'm persistent and press "slowly"--in other words not a quick tap at it--then the star will "take"...eventually.
