Thanks for the intro and awesome story Evergreens, a belated warm welcome to ATS!

I'm also in WA and have hiked and camped around Rainier and your experience there is very intriguing. The more and more I hear/study/share info about this topic the weirder it gets. I have had some 2nd hand experiences I cannot explain that make me aware there are forces which we are not told about. It might be for our own safety, but I can honestly tell you I'm not very trusting of information handed down by an authority.

I really want to do a little digging into this camp you mention, it's getting a little too close to home not to do some research.
