I love Manchester City
It is odd being the best team about after so many years of hurt but anyway I went to the game last night and enjoyed chanting a few songs my fave at the moment is about the best right back in the PL.

Pablo Zabaleta here are the lyrics.

WARNING A FEW NAUGHTY WORDS.

Pablo Zabaleta,
He is the f*cking man,
He is an Argentinian,
He's harder than Jaap Stam (Jaap Stam)

He plays in Blue & White,
For Pellegrini's men,
And when we win the league, we'll sing this song again,
Ohhhhhh...

So do you chant at your games? If so post your fave here

Stand Free wherever you may be,
We are the famous Aberdeen,
We don't give a f***
whoever you may be,
We are the famous Aberdeen

Makes my heart swell with misplaced pride!

There's more, but they'd upset the Weegies, what with them only having one shoe and all... x

I guess we can call it a chant, im a hockey fan, montreal canadiens, fans love to chear the old ole ole ole, not really a song but at least it gets the fans in.

We also chant na na na na na na na na hey hey hey good bye when the other team is losing.

Nothing crazy but it can get pretty loud.

Hopefully someone gets what i just wrote lol

As in Bananarama, or different tune? (Just in case I ever find myself in the embarrassing position of singing nana nana etc to the wrong tune at a hockey game).

Being an Aussie I follow Australian Rules. Fav team St Kilda,

Anthem -

Oh when the Saints,
Go marching in,
Oh when the Saints go marching in,
Oh how I want to be with St Kilda,
When the Saints go marching in.
Oh when the Saints (oh when the Saints),
Go marching in (go marching in),
Oh when the Saints go marching in,
Oh how I want to be with St Kilda,
When the Saints go marching in.

(To the tune of ‘When The Saints Go Marching In’ by the Fable Singers)

Love to chant this after a win

Bally

Oh yeah? England? Here's the infamous Hampden Roar for you, from Scotland's finest.

Poor Italians, it's a bit overwhelming, maybe.

Poor Italians indeed
.....In Maltese we have a chant but I dont think its appropiate (Google Translate doesnt make much sense)
Google Translate]

We basically shout F'ghoxx Il Liba taljani (fush ill leba talyani) over an over in a musical sence.

I couldnt find a link of a video that shows the medley but it generically means means fornification with seamen at the Italians.

I honestly hope no Italians are offended and its all fun to me after hearing some of the Italian Fans chant against the Maltese fans.

Ha ha ha! Yes we've got similar ones to you!

For Boymonkey, this is probably the best celebration of all time, (chanting came after) courtesy of the turnip, Stuart McCall:

My favourites are the joyous ones being sung by the fans of the team that are beating Man Utd. Been hearing them quite a lot lately. Some charity shops now have signs in their windows saying "No more Man Utd shirts please" which proves that most of the people that supported that team were losers that needed to attach themselves to something winning.

If you let a yoghurt stand for over two hundred years it would develop some culture

I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic. If you ever visit Devon I'll take you to see some great football played by Plymouth Argyle, Exeter City, and the awesome Torquay United. Now that's sarcasm.

Merseyside derbys are always great occasions that are generally good natured and for a neutral provide some of the most entertaining games of all. I personally think Scottish football misses the old firm derby.
