Strange metal Asteroid targeted in far out mission

Sounds like they need to rewrite that space treaty. Anything that helps mankind, regardless of country, can't be a bad thing, especially when finding another earth-like planet is a potential necessity in the near future. If this comes down to a pissing match between the leaders of countries so they can put their name on the darn thing, then we have the wrong leaders in place to begin with. This should not be about glory or making a name, but about what is better for mankind, period!

I say, they need to find a more economical method of getting into space and getting through space more timely and then communicating more effectively, but once those hurdles are met, make as many trips as possible to search our galaxy and beyond to find a planet comparable to our earth, see if it is inhabited, and if not, let's find a new home planet, yes?
