No, I was simply making sure we are both on the same page. As far as the mob of people, they are out there, but the govt controlled media is not reporting on it. They make the devil of FoxNews and independent stations and force feed us BS stories about how we need more gun control and minorities still need help.

Yup, welcome to the website that is 90% Republicans lol.

Stand proud and tall because you have an opinion about a CHANGE, they hate change.

Doesn't matter what platform you belong, soon as you say anything positive about republican's opposing views. you are labelled!

I hear you.

I could care less if you're republican, democrat, blonde, good looking, purple, or a platypus. Doesn't matter.

What matters is the system as it was allowed for a certain percentage of folks (U.S. Citizens) to fall through the cracks and simply not be able to afford healthcare. For a country that is lauded for being fantastic and the best and wonderful....I find this to be atrocious. Not even ready to address nourishment and education yet. Let's make sure our malnourished idiots are at least in good physical condition.

Then we tackle those other pesky issues

Might as well ask the fox to guard the henhouse.

Thats the REAL problem.

People are overlooking the fact that the foxes (lobbyist) are creating our legislation and controlling the consumers and the market. Then they are perplexed why the industries that are the most consumer unfriendly are the industries with the largest lobbyist , largest profits and with the most government financial waste.

Here is a clue on how to fix our problems. Make lobbying the number issue and forget all the symptoms (healthcare,Oligopolies, unemployment, War, etc) .

You can't expect the fox to really protect the henhouse from the other foxes do you? If the fox is protecting the henhouse its only because it wants to eat all the chickens for itself (Oligopoly).

Oh, my friend, the 's you and I could share discussing our mutual agreement on this and other rather similar topics.

At least it would appear that you see the forest for the trees and aren't caught up in the us vs them paradigm so many others appear to be mired in.

Just more information against Obamacare that might finally encourage people to remove their rose colored glasses.

Yes GD it, its going to work if they have to prime it right off with billions and billions.

There are signs that they are already cutting back on other payouts like SS and redirecting it. Looks that way anyway.

Zero, in my opinion, if there isn't something along the lines of protests like what we saw during the civil rights movement or the Vietnam anti war movements they will never stop.

With the country overwhelmingly against this one piece of legislation, you don't have to be Republican to not like Obamacare.

In fact, I'm not Republican and never have been. Of course, I'm not Democrat and never have been, either.

The system we had was not good, but what they changed it to only put that system on steroids and forced everyone to participate on pain of being on the wrong side of the law if you don't. As has been quoted in some places, if I don't have the money to pay the premiums, what makes them think I have the money to pay the fines? But either way, you pay or wind up a criminal.

Add to that ... we did this to insure roughly 30 million people, many of whom were uninsured by choice (they could afford insurance but chose not to). Now, we have around 8 million or so who just lost insurance on top of those who were previously uninsured, so we now have around 40 million uninsured. The latest Obamacare enrollment numbers are around 2.2 million signed up (not paid, but signed up). So, it appears we now have around 37 million people uninsured. We are going backwards. And, those 2.2 million who have signed up? Yeah, it seems that around 70% of them will qualify for some kind of government subsidy.

So all around, this is a monetary losing proposition for the taxpayers, especially since we will also have to bail out the insurance companies.

This isn't even a good starting point to reform the system.

I'd truly love to see days like those again. It wouldn't be pretty. But, I'd like to see the average US citizen stand up once more.

Senor Hicks said it well enough, I feel no need to wax on....

“I'll show you politics in America. Here it is, right here. 'I think the puppet on the right shares my beliefs.' 'I think the puppet on the left is more to my liking.' 'Hey, wait a minute, there's one guy holding out both puppets!'”

I'm so happy that we could provide some amusement for you.

Allow me to put it into context.

Imagine our healthcare problem is like a leaky faucet.
We hire a plumber to fix the problem.

His solution?

Break all the television sets in the house with a hammer.

Now we still have a leaky faucet, plus an associated host of problems that were not even anticipated.

Do you comprehend our ire now?

Okydokey...let's just roll back the clock....My family is good. Sure, why the hell not.

The majority of Americans WISH they could roll back the clock.

So, why not fight for impeachment? All I'm hearing is alot of whining.

Do see any indication that the Senate would vote to impeach the Emperor?
It would be a huge waste of time in view of the current political landscape.

Alright then, if the majority of the US is so aggreviously pissed off at this situation...why not form a mob, and demand his ousting that way? Or, work the wonderful system, vote out the Senate and the Congress, and place the political talking heads in those positions who'll do your majority bidding ?

Elections are a fraud today.
The fact that Obama was re-elected is my submission as proof.

Mob formation? They would shoot a few, arrest a few and that would be that.

We are still allowed to complain, you know that, right?

I thought only the Republicans were for Big Business. What are all the little Obama sheep going to do now that they were sold out?

Maybe, it's time for ALL of us to stop fighting each other and figure out a way to take our country back....and that means from BOTH Political Parties, as the Rethuglicans are no better.

I really love that 'whining' comment..... Not.

We all got sold out on this Obamacare debacle. No better care, paying a lot more for it.

And we are supposed to keep quiet about it???

And not unlike the way the Patriot Act was run through congress....

You think anyone actually READ the paperwork? I certainly don't.

So, whereas I am upset about it, I simply am hoping it will be enough of a bombshell that it will lead to real and GOOD change. Change requires change. Change also tends to beget change. It's a cycle.

That's all I ever meant in the first place.

What?!?! Elections have consequences?
The people that voted for hope and change will soon be hoping for spare change.

Well, most people weren't going to vote for Mr Bomb Iran and Sarah Palin. Wasn't Romney going to do the same thing? Romneycare Vs. Obamacare I think we might have been set up.

Money and power have entered into other realms as well.

It was organized and as another said they(we) were called racist and evil, audited by the IRS and called loonies. More than 40 times the legislation was questioned and NOTHING was done. It was just called Republicans causing problems and look where we are.

Put down as people who did not want to help those in need that did not have insurance or had pre-existing conditions that did not allow coverage. Scare tactics. Those who do not have insurance could not afford it. So, they made it more expensive and cut Medicaid, allowing states to choose to extend coverage so the blame does not rest on the administration. This created MORE people who could not afford it and cut out more of the poor. How in the hell is that change worth it?
