Now... I'm not an expert and actually I rarely visit the dream forum... But I happened to see the title of this thread and clicked and read ...and read the comments...

I guess I clicked it cause I've been having a reoccurring dream about a hotel and water.. And drowning. But it's not me that's drowning it's always this lady..

So here I'm thinking... I've also been looking at this thread about past regression ...

If you happen to believe in past life's.. Maybe this dream has something to do with it. Maybe you experienced this wave in another life..
This is just my opinion since you shared your dream in all.. These are only my thoughts as I sit here contemplating ...

Ok I'll try. I don't do divinations in my practice. Mostly it's about my garden and the natural places I visit. Woods and yes beach. I do live on the coast and have never lived more than a mile from the ocean my entire life. The water is a block away from my house.

Wow . I will say this. I cannot look at pictures of ships or boats that are under water without feeling really really bad. I hate photos of ship wrecks that are under water. Wrecked ships on the shore don't bother me at all but under water wrecks almost make me cry. I feel creeped out just typing this response.
I have another dream about being in the woods where there are men fighting a battle and found a place in Newport News Virginia that really looks like the dream place. There was a civil war battle there. The first time I came upon this spot I was in wonder. It was exactly the same down to the twisting roots under my feet. This place had never been developed its in a preserved area that is a park now.

Yeah the collective unconscious takes from the store-house of imagery in the personal unconscious to communicate. Not surprising that it would use imagery from your life-long surroundings. Good luck.

In your dream is it a high rise hotel with a lot of glass?

Well that makes sense. But I love the water and love playing in the waves although I avoid it if the waves are really big. LOL. I am a strong swimmer.

I just woke from this dream . I've had it over and over since I was young.

I am at the beach inside the building that sells food and drink. The building has a big window wall where the doors are. The window wall faces the ocean and beach. While standing in line I turn and see a giant wall of water headed for the building. I feel terror and hear the wave crash over the building. Everyone is screaming. Some water gets in the building but we are safe from the wave. Several waves occur as we stand there watching.

A second version of this giant wave dream is where I am in a tunnel that goes under the dunes and a giant wave starts rising. I hunker down inside the tunnel and the wave goes over the dune. Some water gets in the tunnel but the crash is again over me .

Amazingly enough, I had the same kind of dream last night. The only difference is, I was with a group of people I know at some party in rather old buildings in the port city nearby. There was a major earthquake, it lasted nearly a full minute. I knew one that long meant a tsunami was sure to follow. We managed to get as far away as possible, up to the roof of a three floor building several miles away. Then the first wave came. It came roaring across the city and up to the third floor of the building we used as shelter. After a few minutes it began to subside.

The townsfolk in the two cities immediately on the coast gathered at city hall to discuss how to handle what happened. Then the sirens came, a second wave coming. A large number of us took shelter in a convenience store that had a walk in freezer / refrigerator that we hoped was water right. As the wave rushed over people wanted in but we couldn't open the door, they got washed away as the water got higher and higher. It never got over the roof, but it swept a lot of people away.

It's really crazy how real that dream felt. Especially when I walked outside to see buildings damaged, and when the large suspension bridge nearby gleamed in the light as if hung three, mangled by the wave.

Heck with trying to interpret the wave.....Look at the job, it seems like a dream job.
Maybe your mind is trying to tell you to enjoy life or a tsunami of stress will occur.

Well in my dream I'm standing on a balcony and everything around me is white. And I see a wooden dock down below..so I'm near a sea or ocean. No glass tho... At least that I can remember.

Your post caused an emotional response in me while I read it. That same sad and scared feeling I get in my dream . I am shocked by my feelings right this moment. Wow ... I don't know what to say other than that. Still strong. I am going to go make myself another cup of coffee to settle my emotions. Wow. This is a new one for me. Shaking my head... wow BRB

I have had a lot of emotional responses to things on ATS. Mostly anger at stupid conspiracy ideas. Many laugh out loud moments and a few tears of sympathy but I have never experienced what I just did. My stomach wrenched and tears came to my eyes reading that other post about a wave. I am at a loss as to what it means. I am not making this up I swear . I am one of those feet on the ground people. Check my post history.

There's maybe a glass door to the balcony? It sounds familiar to me is why I ask. This is a Hugh leap for me I don't go in for this type of thing but feel compelled to ask this.

It's quite odd that we're all having very very similar dreams around the same time. I had one a few nights ago, and posted about it here...

Dream post in Alternative Methods of Earthquake Prediction thread

I didn't have the fire element in my dream, but what struck me most was when you talked about the water being underneath the boardwalk too. I recall having my feet in water and having to get up to the first floor to escape the wave, like the water was coming up through the ground.

I'm 58. How I miss working at the beach in the summer. We used to have to go check the campers. I stayed in a tent with my cousins all summer, it was a great life. I also liked pumping gas at the Holiday. I got to talk to a lot of people.

I went from a life of camping and socializing to working construction. I guess I blew it, I should have started a nice campground and organized fun functions. That is life, you look back and can easily see the things you messed up at. I chose stress over fun when I started my own construction business.

That is weird. These dreams for me are repetitive and over decades. What is odd is that while they are usually spaced out over many months and don't usually occur more than twice a year if that I just had one a few weeks back and now again this time with a fire element added.

Yes..there is a glass door behind me.. I see it in my minds eye when I close my eyes and am bringing the dream back from my memory... I usually can't do this very often, but today must be special...

Hi Dear AutumnWitch,

Well, first at all it is important to determine how natural is this dream? from your nickname I am not sure if you are into some kind of witchery practise, if that is the case, it might be the work of evil forces, in the subconcious level, in other words visions provided by demons to torment you.

Now, if that is not the case, a repetive dream along many years is so likely to be a premonition, and one that is going to take material form any time in your life span.

The point here is that I have had a long my life prophetic visions of events that actually occured later, many of which are here recorded in my threads in ATS or BTS. I can mention for instance my accurate predictions of the arrival of the Hurricane IKE to Houston-Galveston bay, My prediction on the Hurricane Sandy great flood over the east coast, earthquakes occured in Japan, North Peru, Guatemala, Martinica, Mexico, Charlotte Island or volcanic eruptions, like in Alaska.

In a similar way i have predicted non natural events successfully, also with threads posed in ATS or BTS: the election of the Argentinan Pope, the defeat of Sarkozy in France, the election and relection of Obama, the Great Recesion, the recent collapse of various european economies, the return of the PRI to power in Mexico, the war in the caucasus in between Georgia and Russia.

You can confirm all what I have told you just by clicking in my avatar and checking my profile.

Nevertheless, my own personal visions in dreams were not induced by the practise of witchery or spiritism or consumption of any kind of narcotics, so were revelations that came genuily from the collective inconscient, or what in religious terms can be described as the divinity, the holy ghost in Christian terms. By the way Let me clarify that I am a deeply religious person.

I am expecting to see in the near future, a great seismic event again in the Pacific, with enough energy to be able to trigger a powerful tsunami against the far east archipelagos or the west North America coast, so your thread has caught my attention.

Thanks,

The Angel of Lightness

Are you seeing these other responses ? I don't usually go in for this psychic bs but I do trust quantum physics and the weird things that happen on that level. Nonlocal communication occurs between particles faster than the speed of light even over vast distances. What is done to one particle happens to the others that are far away from the particle being manipulated. I wonder if something like that could be happen I g here?
