What else, apart from posting on this forum - which reaches a miniscule fraction of the Earth's population - are you doing to "save people"?

Could you explain how what is being posted is helping and not an attempt to instill fear of the unknown happening somewhere unknown at a time unknown?

I ask, because if you haven't done anything except post doom porn on ATS (which may well be world-wide, but is still extremely limited in its scope), then you are not saving lives but, in my opinion, trying to gain fame via the promotion of spurious and vague "prophecies", which you and I know full well will absolutely garner "followers".

Yes have to agree and add its either that as I see it as well or simply passing on their own fears they cannot rid themselves of so they must infect others with their disease.

This is ATS, conspiracy site, what do you expect?? Someone will predict that beautiful flowers will unexpectedly bloom in someone's backyard?? Helloooo!!

I think I can make a difference and even save lives by at least getting people in the right state of mind when everything starts falling apart.

Easy to throw rotten tomatoes at me when everything's going fine, there's electricity, there's food, water, internet, mundane jobs, parties, sports.

Does anyone realize people either die or lose their minds or both when their storybook life starts falling apart and it caught them by surprise?

This ain't the time to treat you guys like a baby! Especially when bad things are about to happen!

I am your general not your babysitter!

I just had an episode again like I did before, an "emotional hiccup" last wednesday.

It can either be the weather, earthquake or volcanism, it could be any natural event but it can be record breaking again.

few days to few months, anywhere, but most likely in SE Asia or Middle East. Stay safe!

My last one resulted to record number of volcanoes erupting at the same time all over the world just a day after my "prediction". Don't take this lightly!

Lol..

Show me a year without those “miserable incidents/happening” through human history and I’ll give you star and flag + big hug.

You are clearly suffering from delusions of grandeur!

Please look up the definition of a "prediction".....you haven't made one!

To simply claim that "something bad will happen.....somewhere....at sometime in the future" isn't making a prediction, it is simply stating the obvious!

Your predictions are worse than Mendes!......and that's saying something!

We're talking quarter of a year. But many "miserable events" are unremarkable - relatively speaking. I'm speaking of events that breaks records, a one in many decades or one in a century event. Things that don't happen every year. But apparently, they are becoming more frequent recently. I think we're headed towards something really bad.

According to this, I do:

www.thefreedictionary.com...

And no I'm not suffering from delusions of grandeur. I'm one of the least accomplished of my peers because I don't run after the "good stuff" in life. I have no desire for high/powerful positions, nice cars, nice house, nice neighborhood, nice food, nice gadgets etc etc.

It makes me the most content and humble among my peers! Just look at most people, they die trying to be richer, to have better things, destroying nature in the process. They don't know once you have the thing you want, you'll be wanting something bigger and better after a short while! Then they'll hate themselves again. They became manager in their office, but hears their friend became director of a multinational corporation, they hate themselves again!

No contentment! Pathetic! They don't realize how powerful it can feel to be content all the time, no matter what the situation! No keeping up with Joneses. I feel great!

So, when I asked where else you have posted these messages of not-so-imminent-destruction – with the vain hope that you weren’t just another flag chaser and that you had actually bothered to believe in yourself and go so far as to back up your predictions and do something positive about them - you reply:

I only did one here.

One forum, eh?
On ATS?
Where you can, of course, gain adulation and stars and flags...

It’s not really “helping” anyone, is it, this continuing insistence that your “warning” us of “something” that is going to happen “sometime” is going to save lives? You do realise that folk who are reading these posts are also members of a website that is drenched in threads about doom-preparedness? (That’ll be ATS, by the way.)

This all completely bears out my initial assumption that there isn’t anything remotely psychic about your predictions. As many other posters have said before, you’re just tossing out wildly ambiguous predictions in tenuous time-frames about natural events that fall in to several, real-life categories. Of course we’re having odd weather; the weather is changing! We don’t need a wannabe Nostradamus to tell us that!

What we have here is another doom-monger, making up stories whilst slavering over his keyboard and rubbing his hands in glee as the stars and flags from a growing troupe of willing, unquestioning devotees continue to tot up.

And why am I responding to it?

I am no internet policeman, but the fact is there are some people out there who are genuinely scared about the way our world is altering. What they don’t need is another, self-proclaimed harbinger of disaster stirring an already muddied pot, just for the hell of it.

Please note that I deliberately used quotation marks; “saving people”.

That would indicate, I hope, that I was utilising sarcasm.

You need to see the good things that are about happen and stop visualizing the bad.

You need help with the negativity and fear that has possessed you.

How is placing your fears on others going to put them in right state of mind?

What have suggested to help anyone in this thread, other than be afraid very afraid, its just around the corner?

More is coming. In the next 3 mos will be wild for nature and possibly economy. Many unprecedented events will happen. This will probably be a record year

I'm not guessing, I could feel it.

Bull.

I predict there will be a Hurricane that originates off the coast of Africa and threatens the Caribbean islands sometime between April and October of this year and every year after that. Quite possibly more than 1. I swooned when I said that. It's gotta be true since I swooned. I don't swoon unless there is a catastrophe coming.

Somewhere at sometime this year a volcano will erupt or continue to erupt, there will be an earthquake that is kinda sorta pretty big, there will be financial unrest and there will be war. What do I win?

I, for one, welcome wdkirk as ATS's new doom-monger extraordinaire, purely because of the swooning. You can't beat the heady mixture of weather-related disaster and a decent bit 'o swoonage.

Oh, and my windy tummy predicts that there will be rain, snow, winds, storms, floods, landslides, then sun, winds, tropical storms, heat-waves and finally a flurry of mana from heaven. Somewhere, somewhen, possibly.

Thanks for the heads up! I wasn't looking at NZ news anymore because I have left the country over a year ago.

My mind went haywire yesterday, and for fraction of a second I seem like teleporting to NZ back and forth and could clearly see my uncle's former house with perfect detail.

This is not a prediction claim. But I thought yesterday, something might have happened to NZ with all the strange sensations I'm getting and flashing images of NZ. I have developed a special connection to NZ after living there for more than a year.

Great to hear no one's hurt!

That's awfully closer to the supervolcanoes of NZ though like Taupo and Rotorua, hope it didn't wake the giant! I don't feel anything from those guys yet.

[edit]

Actually, be careful around NZ!! Something bigger may come up after that quake! What I felt yesterday, it may not be over yet!

It never ends.

a person will walk their dog and it will urinate a fire hydrant,

Yet after you had your "special feeling" you didn't feel compelled to post here?.....on your very own prediction thread?

You just decided to mention it after it had happened.

You couldn't make this stuff up!.......well obviously you could

LOL! Oh yeah I forgot to tell everyone I felt it too....totally just forgot to jump on and post it but I am sure claiming it after will work for everyone here right? Oh, and on a side note I will go ahead and extend my vaguery to it now being a possible big event coming to NZ too.

Seriously? Guess if a big one does hit NZ now you will claim you predicted it? Sorry, but foreshocks happen and trying to say you feel something bigger is coming because you want to equate it to your "after the fact" description of a feeling you claim to have had about a quake that already occurred there is not a prediction. You aren't saving anyone at all. If they are in the area and had a foreshock I am sure they understand that it could be a precursor. Your ATS prediction does nothing. If you are as great as you say you are at predicting then why aren't you on the news, and why aren't any of your amazing predictions posted about anywhere or confirmed by anyone?

Seriously ridiculous claims going on here.

And here we all are reading them,

My prediction is we will keep coming back for more even though we complain. I know I will

I'm addicted, I realize it so it might be a little easier to stay away but I choose to jump straight in and feed my addictions to doom and gloom so I can say no to them.

Me too. I keep asking myself why do I keep coming back to this thread? Am I a masochist or what? And then it hits me, this is one of the more entertaining doomporn threads I've seen in awhile. I mean, look how easy it is to get the OP to jump to even more ludicrous yet unspecific claims.
