I would comment on the oppening post but am still speechless. (Added the following text after but still trying to consume and process this all. It brings food for new thoughts and more research since he has also refferenced a couple or more things)

Is this the time of revelations?

Feels like a brick is being pulled out of my sceptiscism wall ....

.... and a few more added by the consequences of this.

Please give me time for a breath.

I would pose a few matters for discussion but i rather let this discussion evolve naturally as my head is spining over this.

I suggest you even watch the ads as i myself see meaning on those too.

I gather that the most briliant of us now have a chance to think HARD over this all.

Myself i see a lot of the same agony as mine in the man in the preservation of this world.

I pray that most aliens are indeed for Our greater good and our sufferings today is not partly due to their infiltration on high ranking decision making over the earthlings of this planet.

As per the above i have another million of thoughts cluttering my mind over this and i will be happy to follow the healthy response on this thread, so please keep it as such, fit responsible and healthy.

This may be a chance for some new healthy minded team work for our better future anyway.

edit on 5/1/2014 by GEORGETHEGREEK because: Fix video link

edit on 5/1/2014 by GEORGETHEGREEK because: Make tittle more relevant and add a couple of innitial response feelings to the oppening post.

edit on 5/1/2014 by GEORGETHEGREEK because: Currently on mobile phone so excuse typos.

edit on 5/1/2014 by GEORGETHEGREEK because: Scribled some initial thoughts. Any ATS assistance on this thread of mine for once will be appreciated.

edit on 5/1/2014 by GEORGETHEGREEK because: Improve oppening post but still not happy due to presence over my phone AND driving.

Just started watching it.

sounds a little bit like the Prime Directive from the Star Trek universe.

I am quite skeptical of what i have seen of the video so far, I am more of a proponent of the idea that we were visited back in our history however I do not believe we are still being visited, at least not as regularly as some would say.

cool video though.

Well strange indeed. I personally, having encountered a UFO, don't think they're alien at all, rather inter-dimensional, vampire like demons.

If they are on Earth and they've 'hidden' themselves from us then look out. Only enemies hide. I wouldn't trust you if you hid around a corner and jumped out to say hello. There's too much secrecy. If they're working in tandem with governments then God help us all. We're already alien chow.

We as humans, even in 2014 have a crap load of growing up to do before they show us any more than a fleeting glimpse...

i'm speechless too RT put lots of fake images beside the guy to discredit it

Yup especially when many religious folk would call them demons...
We can grow up as a specie but it means letting go of the old ways and embracing something new, I don't know what that is yet but Iam sure trying to figure it out.
I just wonder If any Aliens post on ATS and If so who?

If they are on Earth and they've 'hidden' themselves from us then look out. Only enemies hide. The main reason people 'hide' is to avoid contact/discussion/chit chat/mindless banter/repetitive BS/etc. I would first presume an Alien was hiding because he didn't want to talk to me. If it pulled out a gun then I would call you.

Any new information from Mr. Hellyer?
I'm gonna flag it because its a rat her lengthy interview and he has the political clout behind his name to know pretty damn well what he is talking about, but without wasting a half an hour watching this, does he provide anything new? I doubt it.
I did notice though that now he is finally saying that he has seen a UFO himself.

Back in the day he just maintained he knows this through research.

Skeptics would do well to realize that this man has access to information you and I could only dream of, and UFOs ARE real.

Here is an article discussing the video - CNET

Canada's ex-defense minister: Aliens would give us more tech if we'd stop wars

I don't want to disturb what you're doing right now, but apparently four different species of aliens have been visiting Earth for thousands of years.

I don't quite have the evidence at hand, but Paul Hellyer, who used to be Canada's defense minister, claims he has.

In an interview with Russia Today, Hellyer explained (as if it was obvious): "Of course, there's been a lot more activity in the last few decades."

The reason for this, he said, was that man was stupid enough to invent the atomic bomb. Aliens are frightened that we're going to use it again (and again) and that this will affect the whole balance of the cosmos.

Ergo, each visit seems to have symbolized: "What the hell are they doing in that insane asylum today?"

Hellyer suggested that there are Edward Snowden-style whistleblowers who have already revealed government knowledge of alien visits. "It doesn't take long to get your hands on it," he said.

Do we need proof ET's exist?
Then why don't we need proof of God's existence?

Faith - the belief of things unseen.

Only humans would be so arrogant as to think we are alone in the universe, or that we are the pinnacle of evolution.

Two possibilities exist:

Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.

Aliens could share more tech with us if...

They actually existed?

Or if they did, if they *Wanted* to?

If my memory serves me correctly, this is the same guy that plenty of threads have written about.

He generally gets dismissed as a crazy old fool.

Haha, the alien at 9:19 is holding one in. He's like, Dude the toilet is broke on the ship, can I use yours?

What I find sad here is how persistently folks refuse to simply observe and reflect.

Everything seems to be entirely about "belief".

I for one, find it intriguing that a former gov't official is coming forward and saying *anything* about this topic. Notice I said "intriguing". Interesting. In other words, there is nothing to jump up and down or waste energy over on this issue.

Taste the information, see how it resonates, and either mentally work with it or not. All the vitriol is just ridiculous.

... so, it's basically more Story Time with Hellyer?

"Hey Kids! Thems thar Alienses are is true cuz I's says so!"

Anything requiring Aliens, requires Aliens, not stories about them or their motivations.

Hellyer may even be a disinformation wind-up toy; whether knowing or not.
While it's fun to get told what one wants to hear, getting told what one wants to hear is nothing without the candy in hand.

If alienses require permission to meddle;
I, Hereby, give willful and knowing consent as a representative of the Human Species to give demonstration of proof of concept interactions to myself, in person, upon appointment whereby discussion may then agree upon terms for advancement of continued interactions as well as terms for trade that may involve other willing and fully consenting parties.

If there were a madman outside your house, screaming and waving a gun, would you rush to greet them?

You would either seek to pacify them, or hide until they leave or calm down.

That's what we are to them, be thankful they haven't decided to pacify us. If we can't calm down on our own, they may rethink that option.

Skeptics would do well to realize that this man has access to information you and I could only dream of, and UFOs ARE real.

Hellyer's special access ended in 1969. He also flew into a small Canadian town to inaugurate a free UFO landing pad way back in 1967. He personally has stated that he wasn't much interested in UFO's until 2005 despite seeing one earlier. That's about the time of his comfortable retirement...a perfect time to start spilling what you know.

I'd suspect he knows more than he is saying and due to secrecy laws he is remaining silent about personal knowledge while talking up well known publicly available stories. He would have held in 1967 the highest military clearance in Canada. There is already a letter documenting a Canadian scientist discussing Majestic 12 creation along with some early findings to others in the Canadian government that he surely would have seen.

I personally place him higher up on the credibility scale...despite his somewhat rambling interview on RT. Sadly I doubt he'll spill any personal knowledge until on death's door or anonymously where it has much less value.

Appreciated the link OP....Cheers!

Thank you for once again attacking me on a forum.

Calling me a nut does nothing for your argument, so please keep that kind of labeling on the inside. Thanks.

I'm no religious nut. I have perfectly coherent and liberating thoughts. I don't eat sleep and breathe religion. I have, however, unlike a LOT of the people on this site had real, first hand experiences with this phenomena. I've been repeatedly cast of as a nut. I know what I felt and I know they do 'hide'. Like real nice beings.

They don't 'show' themselves because people would ask too many uncomfortable questions. They'd want to know the truth, and these beings don't have it.

You say things like "it's no wonder they don't come down"....... Er, what are they scared of? That we'll call them demons? So what? Deal with it, right? Can't they reason with us? Talk to us? I'm by no means beyond reason. I wouldn't attack them or harm them. I doubt anyone would. They'd be technically superior enough to simply wave me off and go their way. Us religious 'nuts' would be proven wrong through virtue of both their actions and their superior 'truths' right?

But they don't. They don't reason they ABDUCT, they don't talk they EXPERIMENT, they don't share they TAKE TAKE TAKE. They don't speak to us but they watch us. They appear in our plane of existence and mock us, frighten us and sometimes even attack us. They deny Jesus and seem to leave other religions alone, weird that.

I have my reasons for not wanting to meet these 'saviors of everything', others do to. Spare a thought for the genuine abductees, the one's not seeking fame. We're left with nothing but scars from these...... Helpers.

don't think they're alien at all, rather inter-dimensional, vampire like demons.

I think you should revise/rethink your definition of alien or extraterrestrials beyond your own conceptions and accept the terms by what they literally signify. There is no problem in not knowing and assumption is the mother of all errors.

Just as you may be a disinformation windup toy, knowingly or not.
I see the "ridicule first" option is still alive and well.

Again, Hellyer has been privy to information you or I could only dream of.

His position on the issue is definitely worth consideration. Note that I never said this man speaks the truth. Just that it is testimony that needs to be considered with interest.

Not ridiculed.
