My wife and I toss the subject around from time to time. If you were a cross of two comedians, who would they be? I would be a cross between Rodney Carrington & Louis C.K. Who would you be? Who would be your comedian "parents"?

Who would be your comedian "parents"?

My famous parents wouldn't be comedians but they'd probably produce something entertaining ....
My father - Carl Jung.
(metaphysics and psychology)
My mother - Cleopatra
(military/gov't maneuvers and mafia style hits on enemies, both real and perceived)

What a fun excercise! My comedic parents would be something along the lines of:

Bill Cosby - for his way of making everyday events seem funny and his in general goofiness. (My all time favorite skits being the time his wife caught him feeding cake to the kids for breakfast and his trip to the dentist)

Kathy Griffith - for her snarky-ness (which I can be to the extreme at times) and the way she can sometimes use her humor as a way of hammering home a particular point.

Brian Regan is one of my favorites. So he can be "dad" and Kathleen Madigan can be "mom" --
and George Carlin (RIP) can be "grandpa" --

My brothers can be Chris Titus, Gabriel Iglesias, Russel Brand and Chris Farley (RIP).

I love comedy

My comedy father would be Bill Hicks, and my comedy mother would be Margaret Cho. Yep, it's a weird (but very socially conscious) mix.

oh, and not sure this counts, but Jimmy Fallon -- he'd have to be my "sweetheart" as I think he is just an all-around funny, talented guy

Seinfeld and George Carlin. I would be a prophet with a twist. I would also be the most effective BS detector since toilet paper.

I'd have to go with being a cross between George Carlin and Judy Tenuta....
I always wanted to wear a mermaid tail while playing the accordion!

A nice cross between Stephen Wright and Robin Williams here.

Either entirely deadpan somber or completely off the hilt manic.

I've gotta double down. Carlin and Lewis Black:

Warning: A few F-bombs:

I can be a bit weird and sarcastic, so Steven Wright and Don Rickles. Rodney Dangerfield would be my grandfather.

My ideal would have to be Stewart Lee and Steve Coogan,
