Everybody just eats what I cook for our big Christmas Eve party. I've never had anyone complain about dietary issues, but if they ever do I hope they realize I probably have a sharp object on the counter and a belly full of rum punch so.........

my brother is sick; I have no idea if my own kids are planning to show up at her place; my niece and her husband (sick brother's daughter) will be at her in-laws....

the whole damn thing is falling apart.

I'm really sad,....but....things change. It's hard.
