This has been a favorite of mine for a long time actually.

Dietrich died an American but she was born and raised in Germany. I just love this tune, her voice is very moving. It was originally a French song sung by Jacques Brel, and it is just as beautiful.


I just found this one from Russia, I like it a lot.

This song is metal but I think it is lovely. It is called Mutter (Mother) and is by the German band Ramstein. I choose Germany because I'm British.
