Hey guys!

This song by Grace Jones has been a fav of mine since the day it came out. This was 2008 yet seems more relevant now. Was just listening to it then and thought I'd share

For those who can't view the video, here are the lyrics

Pleased to meet you, pleased to have you on my plate
your meat is sweet to me
your destiny
your fate

youre my life support, your life is my sport

Im a man-eating machine X2

you wont hear me laughing, as i terminate your day
you cant trace my footsteps, as i walk the other way

i cant get enough prey, pray for me X2
(im a man-eating machine)
corporate cannibal, digital criminal
corporate cannibal, eat you like an animal

employer of the year, grandmaster of fear
my blood flows satanical,
mechanical, masonical and chemical
habitual ritual

im a man-eating machine.. X2

i deal in the market, every man, woman and child is a target
a closet full of faceless nameless pay more for less empitness

ill make you scrounge, in my executive lounge
you pay less tax, but ill gain more back

my rules, you fools

we can play the money game
greedgame, power game, stay insane
lost in the cell, in this hell
slave to the rhythm of the corporate prison

im a man-eating machine
i cant get enough prey
pray for me
corporate cannibal
digital criminal

ill consume my consumers, with no sense of humour
ill give you a uniform, chloroform
sanatize, homogenize, vaporize you

im the spark, make the world explode
im a man-eating machine, ill make the world explode
corporate cannibal

Good song with an even better view

Hi Samuel.

Great song! I bought that track back in 2008 when it came out. It has the two best rhythm players in Jamaican reggae, Bass and Drums, Sly and Robbie. Heavyweight dub track this!

It's good to read of somebody else appreciating this great modern poem.

Yes, a very dark song. It is corporate globalism at its very worst. Many people in the developing world HAVE experienced all this first hand before; they have been the victim of unfettered greed by corporations.

Yes, the modern globalism does leave one feeling these kind of blues. I don't know what more to say than that.

A song like that makes people think. I think this track is very very unique. Well done Grace Jones and Crew!
