Wow! Thanks for sharing mate & it was funny. I expected something was going to
go wrong, but NOT that big. It bloody made me jump! He's lucky he didn't
get hurt. And why try crazy things like that in your house & not outside...
guess the dueling banjo was a clue.

The guy was right. Magnesium can really cause an explosion if it is fine, but it has to be under pressure to cause an increase in it's effect. It quickly combines with the oxygen in the air. Russia uses this technology to make percussion bombs that can be almost as destructive as a nuke.

In this case, the casing was a little too packed and he should have never used aluminum foil. I don't think this guy knew this was going to happen. If he did he may have not actually understand the principles of this.

You can tell its fake easily. If you pause sometime around 1:06, you can see that there was another clip of an explosion put there. Also, before the explosion, it was dark and after the explosion, the lights were on again. I'm also pretty sure that magnesium is toxic when ingested. I'm not to sure if its poisonous when inhaled but I'm 90% sure that it can be fatal when swallowed as a metal. Just wanting to enlighten a few people.
