There are plenty of people who challenged Einsteins work on actual solid footing with actual solid math but all of them have failed in one way or another as observational cosmology has pretty much verified most of what Einstein described.

Are there any observational studies which show evidence against anything that Einstein described?

I am not aware of any.

The fact that particle interactions, and space and time are consequences of geometric objects it's an amazing discovery which challenges deep rooted principles of physics.

Notice the following.

The new geometric version of quantum field theory could also facilitate the search for a theory of quantum gravity that would seamlessly connect the large- and small-scale pictures of the universe. Attempts thus far to incorporate gravity into the laws of physics at the quantum scale have run up against nonsensical infinities and deep paradoxes. The amplituhedron, or a similar geometric object, could help by removing two deeply rooted principles of physics: locality and unitarity.

Notice the part which I put in bold that says "The amplituhedron, or a similar geometric object, could help by removing two deeply rooted principles of physics: locality and unitarity."

This is mind boggling, but at the same time it puts in a new perspective why ancient civilizations built perfect geometric objects, such as the pyramids, and gives a new insight into why they spent so much time building such perfect geometric buildings. IMO this proves that ancient civilizations had a deeper understanding of quantum physics which we just discovered recently. (well, it was discovered about4 years ago)
