A five million dollar reward has been offered for information that leas to the capture of Mustafa Setmariam Nasar, a.k.a Abu Musab al-Suri. Nasar, is wanted for his role in running Al Qaeda training camps in Afghanistan. He is a Syrian, but has dual nationality with Spain. It is also believed that he was instrumental in training sleeper agents that may reside in many countries.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Secretary of State Colin Powell posted a $5 million reward Thursday for information leading to the capture of Mustafa Setmariam Nasar, an al Qaeda operative who ran a terrorist training camp in Afghanistan.

Also known as Abu Musab al-Suri, he trained terrorists in poisons and chemicals, the State Department said.

Nasar is a Syrian with dual Spanish nationality.

In September 2003, he was among 35 people named in an indictment handed down by Spanish magistrate Baltasar Garzon for terrorist activities connected to Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda organization. Ten of the 35, including bin Laden, were charged with planning the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and using Spain as a base.

One has to wonder if the reward money will help. After all Bin Laden and several others have had a huge bounty on their heads for some time with no luck. However, it does show that they have success in systematically targeting operatives. The simple fact that he is in their crosshairs will force him to change if not curtail his actions.
