After the dramatic brutal change in North Korea we can assume everything.
If we assume the worst scenario projected in time, i.e. North Korean first nuclear strike on a number of targets in Asia-Pacific, the real benefactor
will be only China. NK is sacrificed already. I don't know how exactly but perhaps the nuclear secrets were given by China. Who benefits, ask the
Romans. The Chinese do.
Russia will not and cannot approve ever a first use of nuclear weapons against non nuclear states, such as South Korea and Japan. Russia will never be
so mad to stand behind and support a crazy suicide North Korean regime that plays the scapegoat for China. (Parliament and Putin signed these days
sanctions against North Korea voted long ago by UNSC).
In any such dramatic circumstances Russia can only condemn a first strike, even more a nuclear first strike. The positions of Russia and North Korea
desperately go in different directions. So are the positions of China and Russia. China wanted Russia's backing for, frankly, a ICBM attack on USA,
according to defected spies such as Lunev. "China provides the manpower, Russia the ICBMs". Lunev claimed the 48 states were promised to China after
the successfull first strike, with Russia taking for itself only Alaska.
That didn't happen. And won't happen. Because it will be Russia to take back the counter strike. China apparently doesn't care of millions less
Chinese. Russia does care of its population. Any such counter strikeit will be devastating for the European part of Russia that is pretty flat. And
is the most developed part of the country. Several bombs will make it uninhabitable and infertile for decades if not more.
Let alone the karma or the curse of generations to come for using nuclear weapons first in sneak attack on USA. So Russia tries to get out of that
scenario and probably will get out of it, unless directly attacked.
In a case of North Korean-South Korean-Japan -China war, I put my bet on neutral Russia. Even if USA takes part in it according to its treaty
obligations.
The events may develop into a Chinese-Russian antagonism as easy as they now look so unusually friendly. Let not forget they were frosty only 24 years
ago. Remember Putin did the biggest drill in post Soviet time in the Far East next to the Chinese border. In case of a massive Chinese invasion along
the long Northern border, he can't just "nuke them" on Russian territory. China also has nukes that are terribly close to Russian major cities. The
other countries will stay and watch. Or may be they won't. May be at one moment USA will side with Russia against China. If the core European
civilization is at stake. If it means a post-WW3 Chinese dominance and NWO led by China. It isn't gonna happen. But it is in the plans of some.
How that connects to the topic - it is just the possible projection in the future. Today's change in North Korea is the most brutal communist change
on the top, may be after Mao's Gang of four. USSR never killed so hi level politicians out of envy and outrage. It let them die natural death,
mostly natural. What we witness in North Korea is a next low level of merciless acts that go against human logic. Perhaps a sure sign the mad men
there will sacrifice themselves and their nation in the name of their eternal leaders and bright future. You remember the NK subs and sailors killed
in SK beaches. Those people are crazy.
