Obama "left hanging" in Russia

Hey I came across this in my Facebook news feed; figured I'd share it. Its footage of a bunch of Russian politicians refusing to shake Obama's hand. I found it mildly entertaining.

This makes me wonder: If America can have a black president, could Russia eventually have a gay president?

Looks more like he was introducing people not trying to shake hands. You can clearly see this was in the White house.

Or could it be that Obama may have said something they didn't like?

Bush had a shoe thrown at him. Not because he is white.... but because he pissed some folks off. The same thing can happen to Obama too. It is possible that he lost or never earned their respect because of who he is, his politics, or his actions and not because of where he falls on the color wheel.

Hey, if I were a Russian diplomat and facing this guy who just pretty much allowed himself to be played for a dupe in the Middle East, I wouldn't have much respect for him either.

You have a fairly beefy military base in a country this guy just threatened to casually bomb, after all, with no attempt at talks. Then he sycophantically latched onto your very first idea to get out of hostility and swaggers around like it was all his idea afterward?

Nah, I can't imagine why they'd have nothing but contempt for him.
