What are your New Years Resolutions???

I would like to start a successful business mainly and hopefully be able to do some traveling again.

I guess the other thing I should really do is start praying more. Some people believe that even if you do nothing toward achieving your goals, if you just pray and meditate on them they'll come true. Like the law of attraction.

I don't bother with resolutions.
Tradition is just dead people's baggage.
I do however make quite a bit of money betting on other people failing to keep theirs.

Ha so true! Drinking is kind of overlooked in Triratna Buddhism because it was designed around western lifestyle, however I don't think me partaking in public urination after a mental night last Monday would have been quite so overlooked

I have many!

I want to finish my novel and actually plot out the series attached to it.

I want to lose weight, like every year.

I want to find a better job that pays more.

I want to go back to school and finish my degree.

I need to visit this site more often and keep up with the news. I've been very lax on that lately.

I need to finish the many creative projects I've started over the years.

And much more personal goals.
I just wish I could figure out how to keep my resolutions.

I never make them. IMO it's silly. Why do I need a new year to excuse things I should be working on already.

This is just my opinion of the whole New Years Resolutions.

If you want to do something do it now, don't wait for a new year.

I don't do them anymore. Nowadays I make small daily resolutions and work on those. It seems to make more sense then waiting for January 1st to make one big one.

I only do resolutions that I know I can achieve.

I will continue to smile.
I will continue to love my family.
I will continue to work hard to support my family.
I will continue to break wind in public elevators.
I will continue to have fun and enjoy life.

I'm just updating my resolution I made many years ago to quit making dumb resolutions that never seem to work.

The sulfur in the fart will kill bacteria and viruses in the air in the elevator. Keep up the good work.

Wow that's A LOT of stuff

Might I suggest you give them a rating based on their importance to you right now?
And then you just takle them one at a time, starting from number 1.

Easier said than done, yes, but if you want to improve you oughta start somewhere!

JAN 1st will be two years I've been smoke free. Yea me. No don't miss it one bit. Just stopped. No pills, no patches, cold turkey. Now they stink to me and I move away from people who smell like smoke. Yuck.

We go out to dinner every Christmas. We started ten years ago. It is a tradition now and we are all still alive. What does that do to your theory?
