My grandpa and I were harvesting wheat with a combine when I was like 9. There was a baby deer huddled down in the wheat, grandad saw it just before
we would have pulverized the thing. Stopped the combine, we got out and picked him up. The poor fawn was shivering with fear. So, he picked it up and
held it pretty close until it calmed down some, it licked his face and shuffled out of his arms and hustled out to the trees near the field. Such a
cool experience.
