Pope Francis Calls
For Power To Move Away From Vatican

Pope Francis has called for power in the Catholic Church to be devolved away from the Vatican,
in the first major work he has written in the role.

Now, that would be a major shift, one that The Pope describes as leaving
the church "bruised, hurting and dirty".

"preferred a Church that was "bruised, hurting and dirty because
it has been out on the streets, rather than a Church which is unhealthy from
being confined and from clinging to its own security".

This is very very interesting indeed. I am curious about this,
timed with a few other items of interest concerning The
Vatican, and The Catholic Church, along with a
few predictions come to mind!

What do you all think of this?

And here all along we were led to believe that it was the beast that was going to throw the whore under the bus ...It is so easy to get the whole thing wrong isnit ...Maybe it had something to do with the US closing the embassy ,but maybe not .

They are connected, no doubt about it, the timing!

Perhaps the other way around, that the embassy office will
be closed due to the coming moves by The Pope, and The Vatican.

This perhaps could also be a way to protect The Vatican's wealth
and leave The Church holding the bag, only for it to become desolate.
or "bruised" as The Pope has said.

This guy gets my respect more and more everyday. Decentralizing the corrupt Vatican is a great idea. Too bad its too late for me to save my faith in the Catholic church, but I'm sure it can help save someone else's.

I am taking a wait and see stance because those with power and wealth probably won't be willing to give it up easily. However, I like this pope because he practices what he preaches, and has suspended one Bishop (so far) for wreckless and excessive spending on his luxurious residence.

Yes, though I wonder if they are really decentralizing the power,
or up to something else, maybe a way for The Vatican
to gain even more power and influence, while leaving the
church....and it was The Pope who said it " bruised".
.... I say this because at the same time
The Vatican is aligning itself with.. Israel.

The high level negotiations in Rome during 2013 have concentrated on a land deal mainly relating to a Vatican desire to build two centers in Israel. The first real estate issue concerns the building of a new church (one that the Catholic Church has wanted for some time) in the Caesaria National Park. This, an area where a church dedicated to St. Paul once stood, is now an archaeological and tourist area. Israel is prepared to approve the construction of a church provided it does not display religious symbols on the exterior.

The second issue concerns some land on Mount Zion in Jerusalem owned by the Vatican. The Holy See wants to build a church on that property which is currently used as a parking lot. Israel has not agreed to this proposal but has offered an alternative piece of land on which a church can be built. Israel has also decided to allow an area on Mount Zion, known as the Cenacle, the highest point on the Mount, where the Last Supper supposedly took place, to become open to Catholic worshippers, a decision which the Vatican has long requested. The site, presently a tourist attraction, will be administered by the Franciscans, who hold that they were guardians of this site before the Ottoman Empire took it over in the 16th century. Under this agreement Israel will retain ownership of the land.

I fear for the pope's life because he's shaking the wealthy at their core and where it will really hurt.

Harper is nipping the wreckless spenders in the butt, but it's just a drop in the bucket next to the skyrocketing increases and ever-increasing taxes.

I do see the similarity, yes indeed.
But of course, excused as it is the right thing to do.

"This is a sort of Magna Carta document which shows he really intends
to shake things up," John Thavis, who has covered the Vatican for 30 years
and is the author of a recent book, The Vatican Diaries, told The Telegraph.

Right, the Church is not the Vatican.

The Whore is the woman, but is she the church?
ETA or to clarify, is she The Catholic Church?
I am asking, could "she" be a future "One World Type Religion"?

"And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth"

That woman which is the whore does not sound or fit with a description
of the The Church
(imo) or does she??? ...perhaps but rather a large powerful "City" that
reigns over the kings of the earth.

What City might this be now, or in the future?

Again, I am just asking...hope for some discussion.
Well its a hot subject for sure, maybe no one wants
to handle that hot potato.

I think it is safe to say that power corrupts.
ETA: And the loss of power is a good thing then,
especially here, its a multipurpose rocket
into the future of the apocalypse.

I am not catholic, I mean only God through his son can forgive your sin, not a priest. But I do think this pope is special. Either that or he is the Anti-Christ lol. Which will have to be seen. Although if he goes after their money he won't live long enough for us to find out.

Seriously, we will be watching another televised funeral. You have to give him credit, he has a pair of big ones.....

Go pope go....

I like this:

John is astonished at what he sees. He sees the harlot holding the cup of the covenant which she has defiled with worldliness. But she is not worshiping Jesus Christ in her heart of hearts. Nor is she giving homage to the One to whom all honor and worship is due. No, she is intoxicated with herself, even Luciferian selfism and religious humanism. She is drunk with power. Her power!
Revelation 18
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously,
so much torment and sorrow give her:
for she saith in her heart,
I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
