World renowned spiritual teacher, psychic icon, author, and lecturer Sylvia Celeste Browne passed away at 7:10am this morning (Wednesday, November 20) at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA. Born October 19, 1936, Browne was 77 years old.

Psychic Silvia Brown dies at age 77


Pretty much everyone has heard of the famous psychic Sylvia Browne, some have negative and others positive thoughts and opinions of her and her alleged abilities in the paranormal. Silvia was 77 years old.

For many people her psychic abilities were a hoax and for others she was a beacon of light in a dark world when the loss of a loved one or even the disappearance of one became her focal point in either speaking on behalf of the deceased or in helping recovery in conjunction with Law enforcement agencies throughout the country.

I personally loved Silvia in the early years but felt that over the years she struggled to maintain her gifts even to the point of playing guessing games with studio audiences on her guest appearances both on TV and radio.

Sylvia Brown and her family made a good living off her teachings and, ah, readings. Two family members went to see a public event of hers two years ago and the tickets were going for a hundred dollars, and they thought she was faking her readings at the event with very little unknown information coming through to the few people lucky enough to be picked by her for a reading. She did show up a lot of TV for awhile, had a show in Vegas, and did write many books which inspired many people.
