Nah, you didn't miss it. The official countdown to Ragnarok is on the Jorvik website, and says we still have 17 hours and a few minutes to go!

I'm in. As long as there is bacon. Vikings eat bacon, don't they?

And (true story) my will stipulates that a best effort attempt will be made by my friends and family to steal a boat and give me a Viking Send-off when I die!

Will sip on a honey Dewars, eat Viking bacon, sing many songs about battles and brave warriors, and be well met one day in Valhalla where I can fight the Gods!

Now I have on my trusty viking helmet too! I have a nose guard, last time someone broke my nose it cost more than 10,000 dollars to fix, I am taking no chances this time!

You ma'am, are a Warrior Queen!

Well flyers fan, I had an awesome evening last night celebrating Ragnarok and my hat is off too you. I know I told everyone that I would be regaling them with the awesome dishes I was making for the event, but the actual making left little time.

I cooked sausages and onions with bread, and had smoked herring too so to call it a bit more viking, (I did cheat on the cheese bit since I thought cheesecake would be in order for the cheese... It sounded soooo sooo good!)

There was lots of music thanks to the members of ATS and Neno won the negotiations and he had his grog, imported from dublin ireland ... (viking's settled that so it counts... lol) (apparently there were dancing Valkyries but there were no pics so don't believe it!!)

And THANK YOU VIKINGS!! firstly, for being kind enough to have your Ragnarok on a Saturday night, second for having cool music and a very cool party theme, and for all around being interesting people!!

Did everyone have a nice 'end of the world' Viking apocalypse?
