There's some playful hostility (generalized), but, the thread is all about Christians getting persecuted, which is entirely hilarious when Christianity is the dominant, most prolific faith on the planet, plus the fact that it's done MORE persecuting of others via Crusades (not just one), Witch Hunts, House Cleaning through Heresy 'trials' ala The Inquisition, Manifest Destiny, Outright Conquest, Forced Conversions, Slavery, and even proxy instigation, among many other methodologies, all more so than any other mythology, and very much more so than any persecution, even perceived ever done against Generalized Christianity by a non-Christian Persecutor.

The very basis of Christianity is rooted in persecution and Persecution is worn almost with pride by Christians everywhere.

No matter what's happening in the world, Christians are ALWAYS running around in circles, flapping their hands, screaming their heads off about being under constant persecution.

Then the Christians TOOK OVER Rome.
So they persecuted each other over what the "right kind" of Christian was.
But, hey, there's those Muslims, so, Christians went out of their way to go get persecuted in the Holy Land in the Crusades.

What are you talking about here? I'm one of those people who was a Christian at one point and now am not. Catholic to be precise. One thing about the Catholic faith is that once you are baptized into it, they don't want to let you go. So even though I vehemently say I'm no longer Catholic or Christian, they would say I'm still a Catholic (the term is non-practicing Catholic).

The present Christian and Islamic religions are just inventions by the war racketeers since time immemorial (hence albert pikes correct prophecy). Its a textbook plan.

The term Christian is an invention by those who wrote (modified) history. Has nothing to do with a belief in Jesus Christ (for the christ didnt exist cult pls save it for another thread).

I advice that you read the daily updates from rantburg and atlas shrugs, then you will read about Christians and the persecution that goes on daily, whole Christian villages in Syria slaughtered and torched, boko harem murdering Christians in the north of their country, the list is growing, the death toll growing.

For those who look, the enemies of Christ are made plain in the New Testament.
For those who look, the Powers that Be in this world can be deduced.

Many people on this site would love to see every Christian murdered. They are atheists, and say they don't need God because they have respect for everyone and that's why they do the right thing, yet many of these people will cheer and relish a billion people being murdered, all because they believe something different than atheism. I'm not even a Christian, I just find the arguments about atheists being on the moral high ground laughable.

The fact of whether christians or non christians are slaughtered in mideastern countries doesnt even arise. You can bing or ask search this. When private armed islamic contractors/mercenaries in oil rich countries slaughter an entire town/village to make space for an oil depot or pipeline for the western bankers/construction/oil cartels. What if Heaven and Hell exists ?
What if the Bible is true and there is an afterlife ?
If there is an afterlife, what if a spirit has utterly no control of where it ends up whilst in the company of negative entities ?
What if the Buddah exists and everything will be ok for a small amount of time because on Judgement Day every paradise that the fallen angels have created will be destroyed ?

Todays world is either following the Bible because ...
1) Its true.
2) It was written by Lucifer's scholars.

Yahushua gives everyone freewill to choose either eternal life with Him in the new paradise on Earth after Judgement Day or exist in the unimaginable hells with His fallen angels.

People know their pre-lives before they are born. If someone wants to be born in a war zone and live a single day then they will experience that. If someone wants to experience poverty during their childhood then that will occur.

Nothing can stop Judgement Day, so every spirit knows (before they are born) that that final day will occur whether they like it or not.

Yahushua knows your perfect path. A path that you deeply desire.

And I understand that it is messed up that they are trying to create more war, when Jesus taught to not hurt others but to solve our differences with forgiveness and helping each other, I really do, but when you brag about hell and make it seem like God is not a God of Mercy and Love, but want to sit on a throne controlling, that does not seem to be the same picture of God that Jesus paints. Jesus called God "Heavenly Father" and while God is said to sit on a throne he is also said to be very Forgiving and Loving.

Everything that each person does, when they seek war, fighting, taking advantage of others, instead of listening to Jesus and loving others as themselves, it seems like those actions have negative consequences.

When people see this destruction and violence, they "wake up" and learn from this. Governments are quick to want people to go to war, but look at how more and more people are waking up and realizing this is not the answer.

I'd say that Christians burning different flavored Christians alive would very much fall under the domain of 'persecution', especially when minority flavors were being actively hunted down.
Getting tortured into making a confession, and then getting burned alive is also quite the bit more brutal than a quick decapitation.

Thus, yeah, if Christians can't wave around their little persecution flag in blaming either dark magical forces, witches, and/or some other religion, they'll go out of their way to persecute each other in mutually gratifying persecution circles down to the last one standing.

The foundation of Persecution in Christianity is almost on equal footing with the belief in the Christ myth.
