New ATS Live Show Proposition, Philosophical Show

I would like to participate in a very open minded long form conversation show about metaphysical and philosophical ideas. I would also like to incorporate live guided meditations and prayer experiments as apart of the show. I would like the show to hosted in a very calm and open minded environment. The way i see it is a topic is chosen/ researched and discussed. It would be good for the host to share a similar view on things and bring guest host in weekly with a new idea in support of the topic where the regular host can very selectively question the guest.

Anyway i have more ideas for it but im just throwing it out there.

I dont have a name for it yet.

Binaural Beats, and Sound inducted meditative states.

Ive always been interested in that topic.

Oh yeah, we could even do a 10-15 minute binaural meditation and then discuss it as a topic and read research everything ATS Live is about.

I think there is so much to cover in this area of the board we should have a show dedicated to it.

Another cool aspect to the show is that its non political so it has the ability to tap into a largely untapped audience that visit ATS.

Yep, its always been interesting that many meditative states use sound and repetition to help induce, than science comes along and proves sound can have real effects on brain activity.

ETA: tie it all in with shamanic heritage and you get some pretty interest philosophies and ideologies.

We could talk about everything from alchemy to magic to chanting, not only could we talk about it but we could DO IT, YES DO IT. Thats my major attraction.

I think it will be a huge hit.


We could have a local authority on magic guest host and teach about magic while we ask questions and discuss what hes teaching.

Ive experimented with Binaurals and lucid dreaming, with some interesting and mixed results.

The best thing to do is put together your idea and pitch it to nef and semper. They are looking for interesting thought provoking ideas for shows.

Get in contact with them( just pm them ) and get the ball rolling.

I have my own thoughts on the matter that probably sound as out there as anything else on ats, but when we are talking consciousness well Its a fascinating topic, we know so little about the mechanisms of human consciousness that it makes for interesting speculative topics.

I listened to just about every show on Saturday nights in Los Angeles.

I would most likely be one of your listeners. This is an area of interest for me. Especially sound, frequencies, alternate states, binaural beats, isochronic tones, and so on. I hope you can put something together. I'll be keeping an eye out for it.
