Everything that exists has a name
give me a moment
I'll try to explain

A short introduction to Onomastics
the study of Names by Greek democratics

If you are a Human
it's called an Anthroponym

If it's home to a dolphin
the correct term is Hydronym


Regarding a country
it's known as a Demonym
this can also be referred to as Ethnonym

A name is such a little thing
the first gift you ever receive
hunter, gatherer, priest or king
a name is magic if you can believe


To ensure what sanity I have will remain
in a world obsessed with power and wealth
i choose to go by any other name
other than myself

some of this randomly came to me while i was trying to sleep last night, my brain decided sleep was for losers and did this instead.. i tried to polish it up a bit today but it still need work...

the inspiration behind it is how we have a name for absolutely everything, we even have a name to identify the study of names... the origin of a name had never occurred to me before and when my imagination grasps on to an idea like that it doesn't let up
